I seek to host a late February war to commemorate my 21st Birthday, I can't think of a better way to celebrate? Can You?

I didn't think so.

Ok, so it's gonna be down my way we're talking Riverside County, And I'm looking for a new location, or we may be using Canyon Hills Park, since we still have yet to try it out.

Location: Most likely Canyon Hills park, Location On Google maps

Date: March 1st, To put it spaced apart from Feb Yano reasonably.

I plan on having gratuitous amounts of the Elixir Of Life and we may be leading a caravan over to the Temecula Pat & Oscars for some grub, covered by my folks. (our Resident vegan may have to bring a bag lunch...)

Feedback?

I expect the bulk of the Active members of SCUN to show up, plus some of our barely active ones. I don't expect gifts from anyone, but I will accept them. And expect some sort of lame party favor.

screw the war and pizza. Lets get really hammered and put thumb tacks out the end of our stefans then sn!pe people from a moving vehicle, preferably one with large tires and a loud exhaust... The bro-er the better.

Here's another birthday idea. Carry your alcohol purchase to the register at 11:59pm. When the attendant asks if that's all, stop and look at your watch. Proclaim "NO! give me 1 minute!" and countdown in the most loud and obnoxious voice you can muster backwards from 59. Once the clock hits midnight talk about how its your birthday to everyone in the 7-11 and invite them to your 21st bday party. If anyone ask for details, mutter something incoherently while shifting your eyes with the only understandable words being "midget porn" and "fleshlight".

as much fun as all that tomFoolery and Hullabloo sounds, I'd prefer that we also Actually have a war... because SoCal is in dire need of some foam Flinging action.

You couldn't pay them enough.

Aaaannyyway...

I'm there. And I'll drag as many of the G-Town half of SCUN as I can with me to drink your dew and eat your pizza. And somewhere in there, shoot you.

Uhh, what? I'm a little confused. Am I paying pit bosses and floor managers? Bartenders? I have no clue what you're talking about, to be quite honest.

Don't worry about it, then. I'd rather not get into that on the forums...

Pit bosses...I kinda like that one. Bags, we're having a no-holds-barred steel cage match at your after party. Brazilian Jujitsu FTW!

And for the record...fight/hardcore dancing and moshing is retarded. During the breakdown, everyone should whip out foam swords and duel.

...Can't we make it Muay Thai? I personally prefer The Art of the Eight Limbs... My Kao Loy is pretty deadly...

If anyone's holding a banstick over your head, they'll hold off. Just this once. Because you said "Mountain Dew" and "coo" in the same sentence.

Bump, Date set, since YANO is on the 9th, it's going to be on March first. Still a little unsure for location, but assume it's at canyon Hills Park.

Looks like Lunch is going to be covered by my folks, and that we'll see a return of many SoCal Ghosts, like half of the people who used to be active Narfers, now vaguely active SCUN comrades, and Even a few OC guys like Cheese-boy and Hubbard.

I *might* be able to come, assuming I can get some guns competitively modded and darts smithed and talk my parents into it.

But that's a big if.

So heyyyyyy guess who's car got extremely fux0red.

To give you an idea of the amount of damage caused, I ended up selling the stereo system seperately from the car for more than the car :)

So i'm gonna need a ride to this gangster conglomeration.

I live by the In-N-Out in Marina Del Rey / Culver City 90066. Can throw down for gas + elixir of life.

PM me.

This war will be located at Canyon Hills park in lake Elsinore, which is in riverside county. I think the first post has a link to the location.

BUMP: ok guys.... Date's set, my parental units have confirmed to cover grub at Pat n' Oscars, so shweet!.

despite the fact that this is the best birthday/nerf war combo ever i can't make it

I have work between the hours of noon and 8 and as my hours were given to me i was told that changing them would be problematic so i can't make it

...Another one bites the dust...

Jeez...You'd think that with the free food, would be enough to drag plenty out here...I mean, this is nerf, the mooch factor is pretty high with this crowd.

Anyways, Look forward to seeing all of you who can make it!

I may already be picking up Cheese-boy and Shelly at the Corona north main metrolink train station that morning, so yeah, I could totally do that. Pm me or message me on myspace later today.

I was going to post a recap thread for this, because we have some decent pics/vid... but I think we'll just share them here. A war that had a maximum of 7 for the day, that was great, but not quite as Effeminate as last YANO, doesn't need it's own recap thread. It was an awesome war and all...but 7? come on people! we can do better than that.

so I'll say let's just post our highlights here...

My highlights for the day:

*getting an e-mail from Falcon the morning of the war...explaining that his roommate is an Idiot and got the date wrong, so by the time I was reading it, he was on a plane to Hawaii...
*The Effeminate return of Tony to active play, resulting in two killer headshots, both on shelley, I hope her forehead feels better...
*My Seijin-esque 4-ttg wielding madness: including 3 barrel taps and holding off people who out-ranged me by about 50 feet, simply because I had more shots and was faster than them, and getting more kills than I've ever had in a single day... have I been playing the wrong style for two years? perhaps...but it could also simply be that all the faster players haven't been coming to our most recent wars.
*The dream team of the Day: Tony, Shelley, and Myself, royally owning Pilz, Cheese-Boy, and a new guy, and doing the same on our last round at Canyon Hills Park, only that time they had four people.
*The terribly un-Effeminate breaking of Pilz's 6th(or is that 7th) gun, the maximizer will be truly missed, but there is no way in hell it's coming back.
*the amazing quality of the Wings at Pat N' Oscars
*Returning to our first loc after lunch, only to find that it had been over-run by a little kids birthday party... A Nerf Dart Tag Birthday party.
*The Awesomeness of the pistol and 2 on 2 rounds in our second Loc.
* Tony kicking all our asses no matter what we tried during our Manhunt variation. technically we won one of the two rounds, but he killed off half our team before he even took a hit.
*Pilz somehow messing up my SS2, it was his day to break guns i guess
*cheese boy actually showing that at least in his case, those silly gloves are useful, I don't think I'll be using them any time soon, but still...props where props are due
*So far, everyone Cheese-Boy has recruited has been awesome, this is good news...because If you hadn't noticed, The Narf and Black Knights sub-factions of SCUN are getting smaller...
*Pilz and Mike rushing each other, missing, realizing neither of them have ammo, and continuing on their way...that was amazingly stupid... instead of either of them reloading...they just ran away.
*Capping Cheese-Boy to end the last round, yelling "you're no daisy, you're no daisy at all!"
