I'm not positive about this, but take your plunger tube to the hardware store. Find an appropriate size endcap (I believe about a PVC 1/2"). Epoxy it on. Drill a hole and glue on a barrel. Dremel the shell to allow for the new obstruction.

Its gonna break again unless you replace your spring. I put a max shot and mav spring in my ttg and i shattered the front. So watch your springs.

Pharoh, are you serious? A maxshot and a maverick spring in a ttg?:D Man, no wonder you shattered it. But before it broke, what were it's ranges? (:o)

Well thats close to impossible.

How could you put a Max shot spring in a Tech target when the diameter of the max shot spring is larger than the width of the tech target?

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

Interestingly enough I bought one and just finished modifying it to fix this problem. The ID of the plunger tube is fairly close to the OD of 1/2" PVC so I just bolted the PVC barrel in place, sealed it with electrical tape, trimmed the inside of the gun shell to accept the larger diameter barrel, then drilled holes in the side of the gun shell to allow the screw to fit.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

PVC or CPVC

It doesn't matter so long as what you're using is SCH80 or SCH40 which both have the same outer diameter.
In one of these I have SCH40 PVC with a polyester barrel nested inside of it. In the other is have SCH80 PVC acting as the barrel.

If the dimensions are identical there is no performance difference between PVC and CPVC. The only difference between the two materials are their operational temperature ranges.

If the plunger tube shatters from the head hitting the end, would it break if it hit the PVC?

The plunger TUBE not the plunger head.

I know that. Still, I tried this (well started it) and the PVC compressed the spring a lot more. So, when the head hits the PVC, I'm wondering if something breaks.

Superglue some craft foam on the plunger head. Or epoxy a rubber gasket, or washer to the plunger head.

It won't last forever, but it works pretty damn well.

How did it compress the spring more? Did you shove it really far into the hole?

If your plunger tube breaks off more than around a centimeter, it's gonna compress. Remember it broke becaise it hit the end of the tube.
