Is the goo gauge part of the air tank? Because im trying to integrate an at2k into ttg so i need the at2k internals to be as compact as possible. Thanks for the help.

No.

The goo tank is simply a pressure gauge.

When pressure is put into the line, the rubber washer at the base of the goo is pressed up into the goo tube, causing the goo to rise.

If you empty the goo, the goo tube becomes more of the air tank. I have heard you can get an extra 20 feet with that mod. I haven't done that mod though. I screwed up my at2k before I could.

Yeah well i realized i shattered my ttg plunger tube with 2 heavy springs. So i think im just going to put the at2k on a wood stock.

Who told you that? DEFINITELY not from here.

One of our own Fearless Leaders™, cxwq, did his own research on the subject, complete with Modalizer™ readings, and found no appreciable range increases with the Liquitron modification.

You guys ought to read the Modifications index (not the forum). Good reading there too!

Well, I heard that you can do it for a 3k, so once I found out that the 2k had a rubber disc for the goo like the 3k, I thought it would be possible. But I heard it from my friend who is a member on here. And I thought I saw someone do a mod like that sometime in september '07. (when I wasn't a member and a nerf noob, so I am probably wrong.

Nothing irritates me more than speculation on these forums. I HATE the phrase "I heard that" or "I heard you can." NO, you didn't. DO NOT post that type of shit again.
