I am building a plunger gun and need some help. It is setup like a SNAP with .75" in 1.25" PVC. What size o-ring should I be using?

Take your plunger to your local hardware store then find a o-ring that fits it.

You won't get any o-rings to fit without some kind of cutting: the space between endcap and PVC is very close in this size (one turn of e-tape is too tight). Your best bet would be to use the cut endcap method: cut the endcap in half, and shove the two parts on some .75" PVC with a gap in between. Then build up the gap a bit with e-tape, up to a perfect fit. This way, you can just buy a thick enough ring that will snugly fit on PVC, and not worry too much about exact sizes. (the ring will stretch)
