More than half the time I get a ball weapon, it isn't that good. I don't think it's possible, but is it possible to make a homemade Nerf ball? Homemade darts work better, and are cheaper than most Nerf darts. So do homemade balls work better? I don't even know if they are possible to make.

I think you might be better off just not bothering with it. Ball guns pretty much have no range at all, no matter what it shoots, because they are balls, and have more air resistance.

I haven't seen anything that would successfully make a Homemade Nerf Ball Possible, and most stock ball guns don't really provide much power anyway, and no where near enough for it to make a difference if you used homemades. But, I did do some minor experiments with trying Heavier weighted Balls with My Ball-shooting Titan. The strange thing is that the extra weight didn't affect the max range or speed of the ball much, but it did seem to impact with a bit more punch. I think that it's simply a matter of physics, and that a foam ball can only go soo far and soo fast before drag and gravity have their way with it. If you find any way to make a homemade nerf ball... let me know.

I haven't found any way to make a homemade ball, but foam practice golf balls are a great option. If you're looking for quantity, you can get foam practice golf balls, $20 for a bucket of 50 (way better than six for $4).

Wouldn't they be too small unless you resize the barrel?

Perhaps. From what I've heard mentioned elsewhere, they're an exact replacement...but I've never compared myself. It's what I used for my homemade ballgun, though.
