It fits all N-Strike guns, looks pretty effing sweet, and was $7.99 at Target if I'm not mistaken. Too lazy to go verify. I will attempt to sell first, and if I have no results in one week's time, I will open one up.

What state or country were you in when you found this? And are you sure it was Target?

Neat find, after news of the Recon with it's interchangeable parts first came out I was wondering how long before Hasbro would rerelease the Night Finder EX-3 Sight, and it's nice to see they changed the light color from red to green. I'll have to keep an eye out for this set.

cool. It must have come out as a little accesorie mainly for the RC. And how far does the little light project? 20ft? I know the nitefinder one is as crappy as they can make it. I would guess this would be better?

Hey Orange, I didn't know you already have the Recon?

Edit: Oh, now I heard Orange's story from the Recon tread.

Well, I also saw this when getting back from picking up a Longshot and 2 AK2k's. However, I didn't even look at the price but it should be around what was said ($8). Unfortunately, no Recon's (must've been sold out); I was hoping to get one.

They should make a green laser. And why does it include darts? It's not like it's a gun or anything...

Hrm... That is green. Unless you meant an actual laser, in which case, I don't think that'd be such a hot idea. Are you complaining about the darts? I think I like the idea that you get free things that aid you during a Nerf war. But that's just me.

I mean a green LASER. this one is a green LIGHT. And I'm not complaining about the darts. And don't you use Stefans?

"Light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation". I don't think they can do that for legality issues. And yes, I'm well aware that you probably know all this, and you were just saying.

You can modifiy stock darts to be as good as stefans.

I mean like a green version of the NF laser. And I wouldn't say AS good, but almost as good.

Yeah actual lasers would present a billion legal problems for Hasbro, as they can supposedly screw up your retina, but somethign tells me that's health Nazi concoction. I bet you'd have to focus it in someone's eye for an extended period to do any real damage. Nevertheless, I'm not going to try to find out and I doubt Hasbro will either. It's still cool. I've always wanted this sort of thing for Nerf guns ever since I was a little kid. Too bad it comes out now when I'm freaking 21 going on 22 and hardly touch a Nerf gun anymore, but nevertheless, still cool for the youngins.

This may be the stupidest thing i have ever seen. What does it do? $8 is a ripoff for a cheap light, as i can get a 5 dollar flashlight at stop and shop that can shine down to the end of my street.

Umm...it just adds to the coolness factor. That's like saying, "Why does the longshot have a scope? Why does the nite finder have a "laser"? Why does the firefly have glowing darts? Why do the double shot and rapid fire rifle have shells?" You see what i mean?

Um,
  • I never use the LS scope
  • I gutted out the NF laser
  • I never even bothered going near a firefly
  • The shells are air restrictors that are made so it is harder for a kid to take them out.
That awnser your question?

I'm with ya on that one ultra. The LS scope I think acually decreases accuracy. And the firefly is just plain pathetic, even with mods doesnt it still only get like 40-50 ft.? I still have the stupid "laser" in my nf, but that is just so it can sit on it's own. And it gives it some more durability. but for that purpose only.

Yah, but as i saw in someones sig, i like my gadgets. I could care less if the LS scope decreases acurracy. The barrel is slightly crooked on my NF so at the range of 15-25 ft. the "laser" dead on. The shells, well there you got me. But for those who have night time battles, this will help them, since the NF beam is just a dot of light and provides little light (stupid magnifying glass...)

It's in Michigan. I saw some a few days ago.

Doesn't seem like much good unless someone is looking for a clean way to integrate something like an NF onto a mav.
