When I was a kid most of my tips of my darts would come off, thus having millions of defective darts I found a solution.

The solution is Tech Deck wheels; they fit perfectly into the end of those long holes in the dart, stick one in hot glue it to the tip and Walla! A dart that fits in most guns and can be used in a long shot without modifications.

But that would be way to expensive, ou would have to buy stock darts, take the top off and buy the wheels. A much more effective way would buy FBR and glue in BBs or fishing weights-the GOOD Stefan.

It's already been done, they are called CDTDs. Aka, Converted Dart Tag Darts.

I'm going to agree with rokor here. That would just be too expensive to be practicle. The only way it would be practicle would be if you already had an ungodly number of tec deck wheels and stock darts.

I just glue the tips back on. The glue does add a little weight but doesn't make a big change.

And plus you cant really find much fishing weights and bb's in alaska in winter.

So, anyways, you used what you had to make an alternative design for a dart! Good job!

Also, I hope you didn't weep when you lost your tek deks or whatever they are called.

What was the percentage of loss/gain of range compared to a "normal" stefan or CDTDs?

Using a nf, xbow, anything else like that.

With the guns i have they have been very accurate and long ranged, they probably gain like an extra 5-15 feet. They are not as good as my real stefans but are a good substitute if you dont have moded guns that shoot stefans.

Ok.... nice job on the idea i like it but unless i had a lot of broken darts and tek dek wheels i wouldn't do it...

How about no more stereotyping ok?(that goes for everyone) I get enough of it from living in Texas...

Anyways, back on topic, that is a really good idea!!!
What I do when my darts break is that I push a board tack in one end of the dart(backwards of course!!! I don't endorse death darts) and then I take a glue gun and put hot glue in the extra space.
