I know that "speculation" topics are extremely erotic normally, because usually people don't follow through with them. I, however, have full intentions to follow through with this. My idea was to have two wheels, spinning in opposite directions with a little less than 1/2 inch space between them, with a magazine that push darts down into the spinning wheels somehow (I don't know for sure yet), sending them flying. maybe these pics will help explain

With a big enough magazine, i bet this could be a good indoor wars weapon (as long as it didn't leave welts) :P

You're probably all wondering how to get a range of 95' from a mech 20

I was figuring you threw it.

This is how the Mech Tommy 20 works. http://www.buzzbeeto...2006/04750.html

I believe it uses a lever attached to the trigger to push the next dart towards the motors. http://nerfhaven.com...l=mech tommy 20

I believe bpso80 has also done this, as have I. For the magazine, I placed a wheel turning towards the two wheels below the magazine, touching the bottom dart. Really quite simple.

Ok, well i was thinking you could have a humongous ass clip and be able to lay down suppressing fire. Thanks, wolfwood, for the idea to deliver the darts (if you don't mind me using it) i was considering having the darts snug in the clip, and then a motor attached to the clip push down on the top one. But then, you'd need to have a motor on every clip, and attach wires whenever you reloaded. your idea is much better!

I think you should study the way the Total X Stream Air Rapid Fire Rev Shot works, I thought it was a Nerf gun, but, after some small investigation it apparently is or was made bay Lanard.

It said it was “Gyro Powered and Shot Up To 40 Feet” it has the upper magazine you speak of, and the spinning disks, its almost a non electric way to do what you want, you pump it to make the disks turn.

Hope I was of some help, hear are a couple of clips of it
