Well, I went to www.toysrus.ca hoping to find the Recon here in Canada but I found this insted.



It looks like a new version of the NiteFinder but with a different barrel and colour scheme. Have any of you seen this in stores yet?

That is just a foreign version of the NF. I believe it has usually been in europe.
It has been out for a while.
I want one if you feel like ordering one for me.

Are the internals the same? Just wondering because this is only $8.99 and the ones at my toys-is-we are $11.99.

EDIT:did anyone else notice that it has no rail?

The only difference I see is that there is no top rail.( and other than color)

As far as I know, they have the same internals except for color.
They probably come from the same mold as the 1st gen NFs which was before the n-strike rails.

It was the original release of the Nite Finder in France I believe. It may have been all of Europe, but I assume the UK guys would have been abreast of this scheme for some time. I remember seeing it a long time ago discussed on the boards and the conclusion that it was France only. Could be wrong.

It might just be the picture, but it looks like that thing fires megas and has no air restrictors. If that's the case, then I know why it's cheaper than a normal NF.

Yah...it kinda does look like that. most likely, except the air restrictor probably just doesn't have the post.

It says on the website that it uses micros, although I do see what you mean and would of beileved you if I hadn't looked at the site itself:

Did anyone else notice the review at the bottom?

This is a bad gun, no power behind it.
This is the worst gun in my arsenal.
The older Nite Finder is better because it shoots harder and more accurate.
This is a good gun for mothers who don't want their kids to get hurt.
You can't get hurt by this gun because it is so weak.

So, surely if was just a re-colour of the orignal Nitefinder then it would be more powerful than this guy claims? Althoungh he could have got a defunked one...
