Hello folks. I open up my titan atleast once every two weeks to do some more mods or make it look better and what not. But about two months ago I was sawing off the top half of the pump shaft thing and when I put it back together and pumped it, it was making a really annoying sqeaky sound and it takes about 50-60 pumps to fill it up all the way. Anyone know what is happening? And by the way, I know no one will beleive me when I say this, but I can get about 400 feet out of this thing(angled) now, so this is the reason I felt nothing was wrong with it at 55 pumps.

EDIT: If none of you beleive me and you are coming to WCNO then you will see, you will see!

Good grief... I'm guessing that is angled to the moon with wind and no tape measure just eye balling it?

Apparently there is something majorly wrong with your pump seal, or the bladder is... crazy with a mind of it's own.

EDIT: Before you make another range claim like that, please click here and scroll down to, "How to make a proper range claim."

If I am terribly wrong and Titans can hit 400" flat then I apologize.

Double edit: or possibly, it makes that noise because you pumped it way to many times and the air bladder will soon blow up?

Precisionnerffer-Sorry, and I think it was angled since the last time my parents let me take this onto the street it really was the length of two of my 200 foot measuring tapes. I also forgot to mension that I replaced all the tubing if that can help with an answer. I will edit my original post now.

Nope, as it ends up it didn't help. I'm going to check the tubing in a bit also.

To avoid future confusion, pump guns like the Titan use a tank and when most people talk about bladders they're referring to the rubber 'tanks' used in autos like the Powerclip or RF20.

My Titan always squeaked when I pumped it; so did my Splitfire, SM3k and all my Big Blasts. If it honestly takes you 55-60 pumps to get the gun to work there's something wrong with it, but if you just mean it only shoots 100' or something on the normal 20-25 pumps you should just get used to it not being able to break the sound barrier because if you keep pumping it 50+ times it will probably screw it up sooner or later or you'll end up putting a hole in someone.

I can actually vouch for an absurd range in angled Titans.
My singled Titan was shot on an angle for best range and landed about 500 toe to heel steps away from me.
This of course was a while back and was probably around 400-425 feet in reality.
Could I hit someone with it from that far away? There is a very slim chance.

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

it does get the average of 100 feet, but thats with 35 pumps for me. And I realize that anymore than 70 pumps with this will break through a softer wood(but when that happened, the bb weight broke through the glue and got lost somewhere). And I know what some of you are thinking;WHAT THE FUCK! 70 PUMPS!?. But I wraped the air tank, or whatever you want to call it, with a role of hospital tape(like E-Tape but twice as strong) and put a centimeter worth of tubing(thick) just to connect it to the tank. So this thing can take a monsterous amount of pumps before something will break inside, if you are not annoyed by the sound so much you have to stop early. But I will not let myself pump this past 40 times when Im using this against anyone in a war. So dont be too scared. Man do I type slow!

Well I apologize then. Almost all guns with long barrels don't have very much angled range compared to their flat, sometimes a 40-50 increase but nothing like 200....
I guess the titan is the exception.

The titan is indeed the exception. It has an absurdly large air tank for what is needed to fire a mirco, as it was designed to fire a much larger foam rocket. I can vouch for 400' not being unrealistic as well, especially at a 45 degree angle and a nice long barrel. Now if Rokor had been claiming a flat 400' range, I'd laugh, but he's not so I won't.
