Ok

Click watch now. I was wondering if the discs actually shoot as high as in the video? Like it says 2 height settings. With the low setting is it usable inside. Also in this video do you think the guns they are using are modified? I know it would be so gay if they were but it looks like they are hitting with more force than most stock guns. What do you think?

I doubt they would be modded, Im guessing because Hasbro doesnt really like the fact we mod, thats why they have that Caution on the guns.

About the amount of feet it shoots the discs, they wouldnt lie about it, or I should say they shouldnt. I have one and yes it shoots that high.

Oh and also, the reason it "looks" like its shooting with more force and power, is called camera angles and effects, so they make it look "cool" and it makes you want to get one.

Hope that helps

How many discs does the disc shooter hold?

It shoots them by either rubber bands, or motors. You could up the batteries, mod the motors, add a high moter, etc...

I am pretty sure it is electronic. I don't think $50 is justifiable on rubber bands.

Xinon, nerf doesn't mind that we mod guns, we are buying alot of products from them. Universities commonly have large sales of nerf guns, which are modded. The caution on the side is simply so we can't sue them when someone gets shot in the eye without goggles. Legal mumbo-jumbo.

In the ad on that link. It actually looks pretty sweet. But look when they miss the target look how far the dart keeps on going. Thats really far for a stock maverick and nightfinder. And obviously that longshot part at the end is fake.

I think the funniest part is when the guy in the background hits the target from 100 feet away with a stock LS. If they exaggerated that they probably exaggerated on the disk shot launcher.

I was browsing the NerfWiki and was looking at the ammo page and saw that the disks supposed don't have a value yet. What does everyone think about using the launcher as a remote mine? You could prop it slightly up in between car (say like at a Z vs. H game) and watch from afar (I don't know how far you can be). It'd be probably one of the only possibilities of using it as a weapon.

That kid at the end has weird hair...o and when they filmed it, they probably stood right next to it because they don't actually keep the camera on the dart after it leaves the gun.

It is so stupid how on the commercials wiht the longshot he does shoot the target from 100ft. And that one kid shoots a stock NF at a target with the stupid little "laser beam". It is sad that kids will think that that is cool. But you know hwo the kid with the LS shoots the dart, and then it switches view? Yeah. totally fake. :)

I dont think that's possible. When you press the button on the launcher, it's really loud, it takes 4 seconds after you press to shoot, and there's a light that tells when it pops up. I mean, if you can mod it to make it silent, quicker, and without a red light...

Well I guess that about says it. Where there's a will there's a way plus if no one's ever heard the sound then they will be curious. (clicky sound) "Hey what's that?" (Bang)

So even if it doesn't work, they'll be attracted to it and you can ambush them. Perhaps its faults are a good thing. It's all about how you utilize it.
