Greetings.

I have had a problem finding a nerfgun lately so hopelfully you can help me.

Our larp group is going to do a 40k larp, so we need the right nerf guns.
I was elected to become a special weapon trooper with a rocket launcher.
Not knowing what I signd up for I accepted it.

So my quest began for a nerf rocket launcher.
Our group quickly dismissed co2 launchers.
I then found the buzz bee big blast, it seemd like the gun for the job.
The rockets were o.k. and it only needed some cosmetics.

Unfortunately as many of you may of you may know it has crappy range., while using rockets.
I searched the forum and only found barrel replacement mods as to get rid of the rockets.
That is not an option for me so here comes my question.

Are there any mods for the big blast to boost up the range while stille using the rockets?

There are a couple of things you can do.

1 Cut off that orange thing on the barrel.
2 Wrap some tape around the barrel where the holes are on the side
3 Plug the pump. To do this just put a dab of hot glue in the hole. When you open the gun up and take the
pump out there is a hole in the middle of it. Just put some hot glue in the hole. Be warned that if you don't
reinforce the trigger it will break off.

Expand the airtank.

Its the big fist sized part that hold the air. Drill into 2 sides, and use plumbers goop, goop 1/4" vinyl tubing to it and wait 2 days. The tubing should fit inside the case.

A quick and simple way to do something is to put about 5-10 metal BB's in the front of the rocket. This will only slightly increase ranges(5-10 if you're lucky) but it's fast and simple.

I'd tell you to scrap the big blast and buy yourself an N strike set, cause it comes with the Titan and that sucker is the power house you want to launch rockets with. You'd still want to mod it but the look is better for your larp, and the rockets are bigger as well.

J_Cobbers- I think for LARP the BBBB would look GREAT if painted neon green and blood red and sanded to look lighter with some black mixed in. Space assult rifle to kill aliens!
