Okay, so I'm in the process of a write-up, and I need to know what length the barrels should be on an at2k turret that will soon be on a nitefinder.

I'm thinking around 3", because there's more space between the dart and the plunger chamber when the turret is on... Anyone have any facts/suggestions?

Thank you, and if it could be found by searching, I'm very sorry.

That should be plenty long enough. My brother uses 3-4" cpvc barrels on his nf, without a turret, and they get great range and accuracy. I dont think you need anything longer.

What material are you using by the way?

Yeah, I know that 4" is common for NF's (I use it on all my single's), but I was just wondering if 3" was too much...

Oh yeah, I'm using CPVC.

Are you replacing the spring or just using the stock one? If you replace it 4"-5" should do, if you don't plan on replacing it 3" should do.

When speaking about a swallow, always make sure you know whether it is an African or European swallow. It is very important.

Are you sure you searched?

I think I used 3.5" and got a satisfactory 65' or so. The increased space is pretty negligible.

I did come across something in the modification/PJ thread, but when you click on it from the search list (atleast for me), it puts you at the beginning.

Anyways, thanks.

No problem. If you don't find it anywhere but in the Mods & PJ thread, then it probably doesn't have a write-up.
