Yes bring layers! Im very, very well known in my school for wearing a T-Shirt in the winter when its about -20(I dont do it to be cool, I have an over active theriod) but for this Im bringing a jacket with a long sleeve shirt under just because of the guns some people will have(like myself, a extensivly modded Titan) and it will hurt a ton less. And I am only buying 2 large pizzas for everyone so it might be smart to bring some extra food or money because there is a pizza-pizza just down the road(along with a Subway and Macdonalds just acrooss the street). But dont worry about water, I have enough of it for 40 people to live in a cellar for a year. If there are any questions just ask.

edit: I might be able to bring a camera but dont count on it.

Just to let everyone know I will be picking myself up a Recon CS-6 in America next week, so if you are interested in one post up or PM me by Thursday and I will give it to you at the war. Or we can meet up somewhere and Il give it to you personally before the war.

I was able to get the Saturday off by getting every Saturday off for the month of January. Good news for Nerf not the best news for my wallet.

This of course means I will be rounding up the troops which means the turnout will be better.

Grenades? I swear to god if that means socks or small balls of plastic where we have to pretend they explode if they land near us resulting in our death I cannot guarantee my attendance.

Dont worry Angel, Im not that young. I meant like the baracade buster and such. I want to keep this simple and it will be one hit death sort of think for most of the wars, but maybe for capture-the-flag it will be 3 lives, not sure if itl be east or west coast rules though, whatever everyone wants.

I thought I would have these up yesterday but I was busy making a ginger bread house.

Lacation- Cawthra Estate and Cawthra Forest. There will be set boundaries because it is quite large. If someone gets lost just yell something really loud.

Backup Location- Cawthra Secondary School and Field.

Time- Starting at 11:00 a.m. , ending at 4:00 p.m.

Lunch Plans- We will walk over to the Community Centre and there should be an open snackbar. If you dont want to eat what they have there is a Pizza Pizza(or pizza hut, I dont remember), Subway, and Macdonalds just down the strret.

Games- We will be playing East Coast style rules for most of the games but for the following two games, it will be a one hit kill rule. -Witch Doctor, 2 and 3 team games.
-Dishonorable, 2 and 3 team games.

East Coast Style rules -Capture the Flag, 2 and 3 team games
-Elimination, 2 and 3 team games
-Central Flag, 2 and 3 team games
-Pistol and sidearm Elimination, 2 and 3 team games
-Fortress, 2 and 3 team games

Is there any chance of getting some pictures up? The combination of everything (no good guns for the cold, it's probably going to be freezing that day, my ride is hesitant do drive me, I have something to do that day, etc.) is pretty much making me not able to come, but if the place is amazing, then I may be able to ignore all those problems and come anyway. If I don't go this time, I'll probably catch you guys at a war sometime in the near future.

Well my camera doesnt work too well ni the cold and I couldnt find great pictures on the web, but I can tell you its like a large area with many, many trees, and the perimeter of the estate is cleared out but still perect to find cover around stairs and behind walls. I cant garenty(sp?) that it is the most-amazing-best-awesome-est thing in the world but it is pretty damn nice for this style of war. I will try to get pictures this weekend but I doubt I will find time.

P.S. I was making darts but found I only have enough supplys for about 20, is there any chance I can buy about 150-200 off anyone. I need micros, btw.

Penguin you pussy, How can you post actively on the boards and not even go to a War. As far as a ride goes, did you forget I live near you? I can give you a ride if you need it.

As far as cold goes, the weather has been beautiful lately AND we are going to be in a forest so that should help cut down on the whole "wind chills" AND we are going to be moving around.

You have something else to do? Postpone it. These wars in Canada don't come every month you know? With any luck we will be having Four this year. For someone who posts on a Nerf Forum every other day, I would figure you would be itching to go to an organized war.

Are you kidding? Thats about 150 minutes of work to sell for what $20? Just go out and buy the supplies you need. If you need foam I will be in Mississauga tomorrow.

I'm not one for chat speak, but I believe what just happened to me was the definition of being pwned. All I can say is touché on all of those points except the delaying thing. It's my grandpa's birthday that day, and he and his wife pretty much don't know anyone that isn't related to them. And it's even rare for them to be with more than 2 family members at a time. On top of all that, he's a pacifist, so I don't think he'd take too kindly to the fact that I'm skipping his birthday party to have a "war" with toy guns.

I'm still trying my best to come. Indoor wars and my patience aren't getting along nowadays and I don't want to be known as the war virgin (<Jwasko's term).

EDIT: Rokor, check ebay for micros. One seller in particular has lots of 'em.

As far as pacifism goes, there is nothing wrong with shooting friends with toy guns.

Sorry for the delay on getting onto the boards here about the war. January 26th is a very good day, but I'm not too sure if I will have enough time to prepare. Also, I have another engagment I got to be at in the afternoon, so If I do go to the war it will not be for the whole time.

Overall, I will be going, pending if I can back home by 2 or so. I'm looking forward to it!

Hey guys, I got am email for Mike (FA) and he informed me about this war. on the date I should be free for the morning the night I'm a little busy but there is a slight problem. I am not a usual nerfer and only carry one gun with my. My trusty bolt 5k. Two factors effect me...I have exams that week coming up and studying would most likely be good. But my second problem is a big one. I don't have ANY darts. I don't have supplies to make them either. Basically the only way I could come is if I get some foam and possibly a side arm. I would love to come as last time with mike was a blast so if anyone can help me out with the whole foam situation, feel free to contact me on this thread or through pm's. I myself also have my own car to take so driving shouldn't be a problem.

I just quickly read through the thread and I HIGHLY x4370943902 say not to use this modded gun called the titan if it is single. I'm still stuck in the old school world of nerf and have never fired one. but doing a little research with ranges pumping 180+...thats not gonna flow. Sure you can be wearing 6or7 layers but I can put money on it that your not wearing that over your face...the part of your body that will hurt the most when hit. And please don't call me a pansy but i'm sure you would just love to take a dart like that from 20 feet to the face, in bloody cold weather to make it feel all that much nicer... Ask FA about how many face and head shots occurred during our last outdoor war. Heck mike got hit square in the glasses! I'm not to happy with that rulle being passes but thats just one dudes spill. Feel free to ignore the advice.

Blink as far as darts go I have you covered. For a few reasons. You broke into my car, You helped collect darts at the end of Hell Before Halloween and your also a good player. As far as a secondary goes I should be able to have one or two extra there.

I talked to the others and there busy hard times with work and what not. I still have to run it by work and I hopefully have the day off. It all depends on them if I'm able to come or not.

This should be fun. I'll be sure to break out the makeshift gillie. I'll have to take a white spray paint can to it this time for a little spray over.

I'll be sure to look over the area and see what were playing with. Time to get into war mode mates. I'll be looking forward to meeting you all this weekend.
