Well the other time of the year is just around the corner. I want to ask what you guys plan to buy and what time you plan to get to the walmart/target/ or mall

I want to ask if any stores will be selling Xbox 360's at a lower price.

I plan to buy

-Flip video camcorder
-New Zune 80GB
-BBB

I don't go out for the Black Friday stuff. Great way to get yourself engulfed by a sea of rabid shoppers. However, I may try to get some games this year. I would bet that the 360s, or at least some games, would be marked down. That's what I'm most interested in. A nice wide-screen (a new one) would be great, too. Unfortunately, that's what's going to be swamped the most: TVs.

Absolutely nothing. Here in Orange County, Black Friday is a mass of tiny ladies in huge SUV's racing for parking spots and deals. Personally I would rather stay nice and safe inside my house than brave the streets outside, or at the mall.

However Black Friday is when I complete most of my Christmas/Birthday list for my parents to take a look at before it gets too close to my birthday.

Some things I recently added.
-Super Mario Galaxies- Wii
-Guitar Hero III + Controller- PS2
-Luxeon III blade kit, from Graflex

Black Friday is the Friday either before or after (I can't fu**ing remember.) Thanksgiving when all prices drop. Something that used to be $30 can sometimes be marked down to $5.
I'll probably try for a BBB.

Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving and the official kickoff to the Christmas shopping season. Retailers everywhere offer crazy deals, which is apparently some sort of therapy or turn on for middle-aged housewives around the country. Prices are good, traffic is horrible, and I also think at a Wal-Mart around here someone got trampled last year when they opened the doors in the morning. Also a little bit of trivia, the day was dubbed Black Friday because the amount of merchandise sold on this day tended to put retail companies that were in the red, into the black.

Also, CAPS, you aren't gonna find a Zune 80. I frequent a zune forums (but I don't have a username) and they say it is almost impossible to find, due to some production delay or something.

I might just get the Flip camcorder, maybe a Razor Pocket Rocket, and the BBB.

Eh, more like of the fact that it's old ladies and teenage girls RUSHING as fast as fucking possible to get to a store. I've actually had nightmares when it was nothing but old ladies and teenage girls on the street. Thank god it is backed up, imagine if it wasnt.

The only huge sale us Canadians get near Christmas is Boxing Day, which I fully intend to go to someday. Maybe this year. Maybe.

So on Black friday, I plan to do what I do every friday; lie around and play video games, mod some NERF guns, and if I feel ambitious shop for Christmas presents ( I guess I don't really do that last thing every Friday).

I live in a county with 10,000+ people and only 1 wal-mart with in 20 miles. I'm not joking either the next closest place to shop is the mall in the next county 25 minutes away. So CS you may think its a zombie apocalypse where you live but here its a reality (brain eating and all). So you know what I'm gonna do? Shop online write down what I want for christmas and turn my dads scanners off, cause I don't want to hear like 6 ambulances get called to the only wal-mart for an injured person.

I might consider fighting through my local Walmart in order to grab a Longshot for a discount price and then scurry away and hide in a corner for the rest of the day having traumatic flashbacks and crying in a fetal position about the terrible things that just happened to me while obtaining the said Longshot...

I work at a third party insurance facilitator, but I used to work retail. Retail was almost my career. Then one day I just sat and reflected at all the retarded shit people expect you to do for them for little to no thanks. Black Friday for me is older men haggling already super-low prices, young men and women nearly trampling each other to get material goods, SCREAMING kids, and lines longer than a women's restroom in a Japanese bar.

No fucking thanks. I'm not going to be included in those sheep. I'm waking up at 5:00am, buying 2 dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts, and I'm taking it to the hard working folks at my ex-employment. I've got some happy memories at that store, and a lot of the people I worked with are still there. I'm going to make them feel appreciated (and then I'm going back to bed).

I went black friday shopping at Circuit City, and it was surprisingly good. I was able to easily pick up a Xbox 360, Guitar Hero 2, Halo 3, and a couple dvds. There were not any screaming kids it, and it was pretty quiet and slow. No fights or scuffles either. The only bad part was getting up at 4:30 in the morning and waiting in line for 45 minutes.

I attempted to buy a laptop at staples. It seems to me like around here, if something is 200+ dollars, and it is just being released or there is a big special, [such as Black Friday] they hand out tickets to the people in line. I didn't get a ticket even though I got there at 4:30 am. Does this happen in other places?

I went to Target like at 5:00 PM. The lines were surprisingly short. I got the BBB I've been wanted to get. I spend no less than 5 minutes in that store. I expected the nerf stuff to be gone; there were 3 BBB, DTG's, and the ussually stuff. Damn, I should have shoplifted some batteries or something.

I performed a few illegal deeds yesterday...
I was able to acquire:
a set of pimping, (yes, they pimp) headphones, a ds case, and 3 videogames (Halo 3, Assassin's Creed, Guitar Hero 2).

I also legally purchased a few video games as well.
