I realized that there is a slide on top of my Mech Tommy 20 that is nearly identical to that on the Scout and Nite Finder, which could possible be used to attach guns to the MT20. After some testing, however, I realized that it was slightly larger than those on Nerf brand blasters. I then calculated the correct measurements needed to make it fit Nerf brand guns.

Tools Needed:
Metal File x1
Tommy 20 x1
Brain x1

Measurements:
Note: Only file the front 2 inches of the slide to fit these measurements. You want the fit to be tight!

Width: File down to 17-18 mm.

Height: File off 1-2 mm off of the top of the slide.

The slide should now fit the Crossfire, the DTG, and even the Titan, creating quite a beast. You could even add a LS scope!

I know y’all will probably flame me for having no pics. Sorry.

Nitefinder's aren't heavy unless you keep the laser in. The laser is WAY much heavier than anything else in the gun. Also, if you put in a heavy spring, it's not all that bad to handle AND lift the nitefinder with your PINKY. Have you modded a nf before, because the nitefinder is a light a** gun...

Yeah, I added the Crossfire. It looks really cool on the titan, and the DTG would work too, although I don't have one.

Any one else wanna comment? Flame? Anything?

I'm new here, and a n00b, but I have something to say. I looked at this rail too, but a long time ago. I figured out how to mount a Longshot scope my friend gave me. My solution made the scope no longer compatible with the standard nerf rails, but it did allow me to attach it to the Mech Tommy 20. Sorry I don't have any pictures, I didn't think to take them. All you have to do is take apart the Lonshot scope and get to the mechanism where the scope attaches to the rails. Take out everything except the two pieces that go on either side of the rail. Once you are done you have a Mech Tommy 20 compatible Longshot scope. The only problem with the scope is that it is a pain in the A** to put on, but it is doable (sp?).

The point of this mod was to make the longshot scope and other things fit on the MT20, but still fit on Nerf brand guns.

I know, but I didn't have any nerf blasters at the time only the Mech Tommy 20.
