Finish those other mods so I have something else to read on here.
Now have a coke and a smile and shut the fuck up.

Fuck modding.

I used to think that I liked to mod. Now I have realized that I hate modding halfway through every project. I don't really have the patience anymore to do some of the more complicated mods. When I was doing FA's ls breach mod I threw the gun at the wall a few times, and it was really hard for me to resist smashing it to pieces. The gun works like a charm now, but it really wasn't worth it.
Fuck modding.

Why are you here?
Because unlike you I NERF.
Most people don't know that there are two parts to this hobby.
1.Modifying Nerf blasters.
2.Nerfing with Nerf Blasters

Wait, what about the part where you spend hours and hours on the Internet bragging about your sweet new mod, asking questions that have asked before, and posting WTBs trying to get that super rare blaster (Insert X-bow, Manta Ray, Warthog, Splitfire, SM5000 here) that you MUST have .Because unlike you I NERF.

1.) The blaster will preform much better.
2.) I know every detail of how the blaster works, and how to change it.
3.) Only about ten thousand people mod their nerf guns. I'm one of them.
4.) When I'm done, the blaster will outshoot any of my friends'.
5.) Even if I screw up, I can just buy another for low cost (usually).
Stress relieving? I'll say.
Until I go too far and it all goes to shit.

Love Nerfing.
Occasionally "love" reading stuff here. Othertimes, it's just damn stressful.

Wow, all that crack's finally gone to your head. About time too.
It completely depends on the guns I'm modding. For instance, i HATED modding my longshot, so damn complex, but i sure as hell loved modding my Nite finders.

On-topic: Yes, it's stress-relieving. Until I start a homemade and find so many details about my plans don't transfer as smoothly as I had hoped from computer to PVC. Gotta keep trying here.

That was until I got my first piece of cpvc. After I modified a gun using cpvc, I was so impressed with the results compared to the amount of work I put into it, that I went crazy and modified 3 guns in the same day with the stuff. I love modding now, all because of cpvc.

Though I do get pretty pissed when things just don't work.
Like, when something always falls out of place or pops up when you're trying to put the case together. Yeah, that's probably the worst. And I'm not a big fan of repairing broken guns.
I still like going out and Nerfing more than modding guns though. But they fit perfectly together. I wouldn't want to mod a gun if I never Nerfed. And I wouldn't want to Nerf if I didn't mod anything.
Like someone said earlier, I like knowing the gun I'm using is mine, and that I tweaked everything on it. I like being able to say I "made" my gun.
...Just one thing I love about Nerf... Customization.

The only stressful part about modding is worrying that I might really break something, but otherwise I don't really care about the results until I go to test the mod...which is rather stressful:
Will it blow up or otherwise break?
Will it suck or will it be awesome?
Did I waste much time and a fair amount of money?
My biggest disappointments: My re-barreled BBB and Pump Action Shotgun. Both only barely outranged my NF (if they even did that). I figure that either the fit of my darts sucks, or I just need to replace the springs. Or both...
