Hey people. I'm new, as of today, and I just want a place for us new people to talk, without the experienced people annoying us and making fun of us. If you are experienced and are reading this post, don't give me bullshit, and don't think because I'm new to the forum, that I don't know anything about Nerf. Yeah, well lets get a thread going, and I hope to get to know you all... you all probably have something much more exciting to do than answer this post... so you should probably go do that.

Just to reiderate Cxwq's rules (copied & pasted, somewhat altered):

Don't proclaim yourself to be a God of Nerf. I, for one, will flame you. Others will laugh at you. Then I will laugh at you and flame you some more.

Don't abbreviate words like ''you'' or ''be'' or "are."

Don't post more than one or two new threads a week until you're damn sure that people want to read what you write.

Don't ever under any circumstances post a ''which gun is best'' thread.

Just to let you know, most all new members go through a hazing / flaming process around here...this isn't really a newbie-friendly environment (or a site for that matter), so, as I read in your other post, most people here will not "just accept you" as a contributing member. Just remember, respect older your members, admins, and just post intelligently and in a coherent manner, and you should do fine.

Oh, and stay away from VACC when he tries to invite you into his van, even if he offers you candy, or a puppy, or a basket full of kittens.

I recently figured that out after reading the burning statements the Admins and Contributers were making in the members only area... wow they hate me.

why should nhq be a place for the newbs.Then those newbs will stay at nhq and nh will eventualy die.

It just is, dude. It's called Nerf Haven for a reason. I think most newbs got the impression that this is the place for intelligent discussion among some of the older members of the community. The Haven won't die as long as there's contributions, the founding members remain active, and there's some kind of intelligent discussion, which I'm having trouble locating at the moment...

Think of it as a school system: All newbs start out at NHQ. You learn. You interact. You contribute. You grow. You graduate to the Haven.

Mmmm, hate tea. I'll have mine with steel shot and some FBR please. There is more to it than hate and kill isn't there? You have to learn to mod but I guess you can do it with a hatefull spirit and add a little of your blood to each hot glue stick. It really is a hate and kill type of thing isn't it?
