I just got a magstrike the other day. It didnt have that good ranges, so i tried to remove the ARs. I took a screw driver and forced them out. Everything is flush with the walls. Now when i use the clip that I think has the ARs removed it shoots a little less than the one with the Ars. (When i AR i mean the crosses and pegs in the back of the clip.)

Rebarrel the clip (this is one of those few times where it's not a magazine). I'm not sure about why the ranges are less, but rebarreling with brass or PETG ought to make an appreciable difference. I would avoid CPVC because it can be too tight on darts.

Make sure no plastic scraps are potruding out the back this could mess up the seal. It happened to me and I just had to sand them down.

Make sure the top of your gun is parallel to the ground when firing.
Finish those other mods so I have something else to read on here.
Now have a coke and a smile and shut the fuck up. :)

If you've got some PETG put it to some good use, linkage: http://nerfhaven.com...132

When speaking about a swallow, always make sure you know whether it is an African or European swallow. It is very important.

Simply hammering the pegs out isn't going to improve the performance of the gun if you're still using stock darts.
And they're not molded or glued to the barrels in any way. The way they're placed when stock the clip has a bit of leakage around them.

At the very least you have to remove the backplate from the clip, remove the rings that used to hold the pegs, seal the holes that are left behind, then glue the backplate on again.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

Or for a quick fix just drill out the ARs through the holes at back of the clip.

That's essentially what he did prior to posting.

Then how did he lose range? I drilled mine out and it gets around 3-5 feet more than stock.

If your using stock darts, then it makes sense. the stock's were only made for a centaind amount of air. Putting to mutch air through fucks up the projectory. Are the darts curving unusually?
