As a s-niper, which is what I like to call myself, and I have said this many times- I play inside... so I use the Supermaxx 1500 and it works for me prefectly. I also have a Magstrike equipted... is this a good choice? Up 'till recently I have used a Longshot... but it jammed to much to be of much use in close combat. I could use it as a loser, but I can get further out of my modded Supermaxx 1500. So is a Magstrike and a Supermaxx 1500 a good duo?

On topic these topics aren't really NerfHaven to well so I would probably expect to get flamed by some back seat mods but it is fine with me. The SM 1500 and the Magstrike are an excellent duo if modded properly. The only problem I could see is that they are both pump guns so once the Magstrike runs out of ammo it will take a while to reload and the SM 1500 has a low rate of fire. Since you use these indoors though they should suffice. Also you may want to type 5N1P3R like this or this asshole because in nerf there isn't really a such thing as a asshole but more of a sharpshooter.

Because if the mods really were mean then it would replace asshole with "pussy who sits around and kills game. A.K.A the fun police" Its a great way to kill a game and make it boring for everyone. You never really move around. I found this when Airsofting. I can stand back and wait till my friend has to reload then go in for a one hit kill but thats not fun. And it severly slows the game down.

Ok, I'm not that kind of asshole- I move around- thats why I wanted the Magstike- for close combat. My guns are also not insanely modified.

Well, is your Supermaxx 1500 modded?
Is your Magstrike modded?

If so you have an excellent duo!
An unmodded Magstrike is only good for rushing.

From my knowledge, a Supermaxx is a better medium range blaster.
If you can use the Supermaxx fast enough, you are good.
Otherwise, you are royally f***ed.

Actually, I am the only one to whom the filter does not apply. Watch: snіper. They censor it because there is usually no such thing as a snіper in Nerf.

The MS and SM1500 must be modded to their full potential, or at least with extensive work, to be able to perform in almost any situation. This means more to the MS, as there is more potential there. The bladder needs more room to expand, the OPRV has to be plugged, the trigger can be upgraded to a hair-trigger, and the piston can be banded. The SM1500 is good for long range with a OPRV plug and rebarrel. However, you must be able to switch between them rapidly should the need arise.

Also, @ stands for "at," not "and." & is the symbol for "and."

I agree with Shadow Hunter, you better mod the magsrike well because that thing sucks without modding even in an indoor war.

My Magstrike is not modded exept on the clip- so it does not go back into the gun once I stop firing, and my Supermaxx 1500 is modded- not very heavily, but it gets about 25 feet. When I read mod results they all say that they reach 50 feet flat... I really have no intention of giving my 6 year old brother a mark to remind him to never play nerf again...

Anyways, I just came by to say a little something about magstrikes. They are a fun concept, but not a strategic choice. Well, for outdoor nerfing of course. I tried it in a war once and got shot in the crotch by the first heavily modded NF I had ever seen in person. But in indoor wars , mine has pulled through for me. And as for snlping, it is also extremely erotic because Nerfing is supposed to be fun, not sitting around getting kills.

25'? My magstrike stock got more than that. How can you use that as more of a long-range gun?

Use stock darts; my nitefinder gets 50 feet flat with stock darts and it doesn’t leave a mark or piss my little brother off.

Wait, you call yourself a asshole while you nerf indoors with stock guns? That is a bit silly, I guess you see s.niping as standing twenty feet away from your target and shooting them and then taking cover. As for your question, do you think it will work well? None of us will no how you play.

I think he sees being a snіper as being able to accurately hit his target at any range given indoors (the emphasis would be on accuracy and not range or power in his case). That would be different from traditional views, where a snіper is mainly a long-range marksman, where a large effective radius and accuracy are valued more than CQB or ROF. There actually is no point to having a "snіper" or long-range gun setup in any indoor war.

On-topic (the real topic): I thought of this just now. If it's a high ROF gun you want, which is why I assume you need the MS, why not just use an RF20. Those can get up to 50+ feet with CPVC barrels and an OPRV plug, and carry twice the shot capacity of an MS. I suppose the only downside is the ungodly long reload time.

I am still confused as to why people playing indoors dont just use automatics or PC's, blastfires, etc? I mean, Its not like range or power is an issue, why not just go straight for RoF?

And BTW- You nerf with your 6 year old brother? How friggin one-sided is that?
