-Atomship, $5 you've never heard of 'em. Look them up if you haven't, they're a great rock band.

Haha you owe me $5. I love that band. To bad they split up. Their next C.D. would have been so good.

I guess you have some heavy duty industrial strength toilet paper holders. Do they advise you to wear eye protection when changing rolls?

As long as it's not country, boring opera, or rap (unless there's booze) I'm full steam ahead for any music.

You may or may not know of some of the bands that I listen to. I'll mark those with a preceding asterisk for you guys. Here's a little help, they're usually foreign...

Before you look at the list, I might as well tell you that there's almost no time where I'm not listening to music.

Currently I've been listening to:

Industrial/electronica
Techno
Classic rock
Rock/pop mix
Oldies
Maybe some others...

Current bands (in no particular order):

*Unheilig (Favorite)
*Eisbrecher
*Funker Vogt
*Kraftwerk
Rammstein
*Ellen Allien (Ellen Allien & Apparat)
Freezepop
Daft Punk
The Annuals
Avenged Sevenfold
The Beach Boys
Benni Banassi
Blondie
Blood Sweat and Tears
Chuck Berry (With out him, there would be no rock)
Counting Crows
Danzig
Dave Mathews Band
The Edgar Winter Group
Gun (The original "Word Up" is much better than silly Korn's)
Hot Action Cop
Johnny Cash
Bon Jovi
Led Zepplin
Linkin Park
Live
Mathew Sweet
Nada Surf
*Nightwish
Positive noise
*S.P.O.C.K.
Sade (at times)
*Safari Duo
Seal
Subatomic Glue (they distribute their music free from their website! Legit!)
Sublime
Suicidal Tendencies
The Doors
The Police
The Verve
Third Eye Blind
*Wolfsheim
Yanni

That's what I mostly listen to out of 295 artists in my media player (songbird (open source software rules!)) All of this music is due to change, if anyone wants a sampling of something, I can send you a file with piece of a song (I can edit). If a mod thinks that last sentence breaks © then delete it.

Yeah! Me and Hierarchy actually found them through you... Day of Daze on one of your DCNO(?) War Videos. I really liked the song, went out and listened to a few more... Got the CD and now they're one of my favorite bands. Then I showed it to Hierarchy, he liked it a lot too.
There's a small clip of an unreleased song live on Youtube... Only 40 seconds of it, but it sounds really good. It's really sad they broke up... They were amazing.
Here's the clip.

Ever heard of the band Hurt? Another small band with A LOT of talent. Definitely one of my favorite bands.

Wow, nice video clip Retaliate. Terrible sound quality, but from what I can hear it sounds like it would've been pretty good.

I'll go look up Hurt now.

Has anyone ever heard of The Giraffes? I like their song "Man U" (and most of their songs).

Oh yeah, and I also like some stuff (the guitar mainly) by Dream Theater, but I absolutely hate the vocals. The singer's voice sucks.

Beauty and the Beast has one of the best soundtracks from any movie I've seen. I actually had the privledge of going down to disney and working with the conductor there with my orchestra two years ago, and it was an experience of a lifetime.

Alice came to the fork in the road.
"Which road do I take?" she asked.
"Where do you want to go?" responded the Cheshire cat.
"I don't know," Alice answered.
"Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

I just realized, I haven't given my list yet.

Here they are, in no particular order.

-Linkin Park, mostly Meteora and Hybrid Therory. I only like 'Given Up' on Minutes to Midnight.

-Hoobastank, that's right, the band that sang 'The Reason' which was popular about 5 years ago. They're pretty good.

-Billy Joel, I defy anybody to say he isn't amazing.

-Atomship, $5 you've never heard of 'em. Look them up if you haven't, they're a great rock band.

-Chromium_[ZA], an amazing, almost undiscovered metal band.

-Seven Wiser, another undiscovered talent.

-A few DAUGHTRY songs, that's right. American Idol foolz. I actually hate that show, but he isn't bad. I just have to be in the mood to listen to him.

Whoa, I really like the top 4.

We have something in common.

If you want a good hoobastank song go with Crawling in the Dark. Sick intro.

Billy joel's version of walking in memphis is great and of course piano man. I basically like all of Linkin Park's music.

I love Crawling in the Dark. I'm trying to learn how to play the intro on my guitar, the only problem is it's an acoustic, so I can't get just the right sound out of the guitar. It's my favorite song on the CD, along with
Up & Gone. The Bass intro for Up & Gone is incredible.

Another good CD by Hoobastank, which is hard to come by, is an EP, called Target EP, of their self-titled album. It has 3 unreleased songs and the acoustic versions of Crawling in the Dark, Running Away,
Up & Gone, and Ready for You. I love it, if you ever find one grab it.

Wait, I have to go back and edit my list. I don't have Foo Fighters on there.

On the topic of him he remade a song of the Red Hot's and completely butchered it. Because of that he is lame, except for Ahmish Paradise. That was his only good song

What about "Smells Like Nirvana"?, or "Eat it"?, or "Fat"?, or "I'll Sue Ya"?, or hell, even "White and Nerdy", the anthem of most hardcore nerfers. And yes, I don't like "Bedrock Anthem" very much.

Metallica, Guns n' Roses, Green day, weird al.
A lot of what I listen to I don't actually pay attention to the lyrics, like carbon. I don't mind rap that much because of it, but when I stop and listen I decide to go do something else usually.

I think that we could get a sticky out of this!

Shadowkid we have the same exact taste in music.

I could have given you some recomendations if my ipod didnt go through the wash.

Do you like POD? I'm not sure if you would or not. I personally like them. Try Boom, youth of the nation, alive.

I also like the song Shadow of the Day by Linkin Park, I'm not really sure why.

other god ones(I'm sure you have most of these)
-pretender-foo fighters
-everlong
-best of you

try the song "The Kill" I actually forget the name of the band, it has the word mars in it though.

Also does anyone like Rise Against? great band.
