"lazy" Eagle Eye Mod

What you will need:
Eagle eye
1/2" CPVC
Etape or whatever tape you prefer
Alright, so what we are doing is basically putting a CPVC barrel into the eagle eye's barrel.
First, cut a section of your CPVC. I cut off 4" for this particular mod, but you can cut whatever length to your preference.
Next, wrap 2-4 layers of tape around the middle, or near the end of the CPVC that will actually be inside the barrel.
Now, shove the barrel into your eagle eye, and you're done! It should fit snug into the barrel. If it takes too much force to get the barrel in, then take off a layer of tape. If its too loose, add a layer, and so on.
I haven't gotten ranges yet, because its raining hard out here on the east coast. I will try to get them when the storm passes over. I did shoot it once outside (That wasn't the only time I shot it, but it was the only time I did outside) and it looked to get around 70' flat from about 5' off the ground, shooting a stefan. I know that sounds too good to be true, but I was also surprised how far it shot with such a simple mod. Another note: when I used a stefan, ramrodding it didn't do so well, what I did was simply removed the CPVC, put the stefan in the back end of it, replaced it into the gun, and it works extremely well.
Hopefully I get put into the directory for this!

Well, beware of that e-tape breaking down. After being pushed in and pulled out a few times, it will leave a sticky mess all over the inside of your barrel.

Sort of like a coupler mod, eh?

Yeah, good point, although, I didn't actually use e-tape. I used a cheap duct tape, and it works well.

Maybe you will want to consider a breach?

Considering I just got some epoxy a few days ago, I may do that. Thanks for the idea, F_S.That is a lazy mod and it is very inexpensive but you should just epoxy a CPVC coupler onto it. The durability will increase and the range should also increase a bit.

70+ feet isn't an unreasonable range at all.

I'm probably going to coupler it, I've already made a second barrel that I can switch out.If you opened it up and epoxied the barrel right to the plunger tube you would probably find an increase in range.

I've got one I call the Falcon Eye, pictures forthcoming, it's just an Eagle Eye with an AT2K turret. It works great for me.

Do you use that as your primary? I might use mine as a primary because the barrels are easy to remove, so it functions like its been couplered, that and I made extra barrels for it.When the Eagle Eye was first released, it was considered to big to be a sidearm, but didn't have the range to be a primary. I think that was a large part of its reputation for being bad.

Just wow.
Seems easy enough. I am going to doubt the range though with a stock spring.
It simple and effective. Consider it added.
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.
