---------------------------------------
Take the gun then crack it open.
---------------------------------------
Remove the air restrictors, then cut the gun barrels down to the place the barrels get smaller.
The couplers should just slide over the stubby barrels that are left. Glue them down once you get them to set even.
Set them in the shell to see where you need to trim down the shell.
---------------------------------------
Trim shell and put it all back together.
---------------------------------------
There you go all done.

I take it you left the OP valve in because the tanks are sensitive? What is the optimum amount of pumps?

I am not sure the optium number but I will find out in the morning. I think its low about 8 pumps. If you listen really closely you can hear the OP valve when you pump it to the point it starts tripping.

The main trigger fires the barrels in sequence, but has to be reset prior to repumping them by moving the slide back and then forward.
The trigger on the top fires all of the barrels at once.
Other guns that use the same kind of blast chambers
+ Hornet
+ Big Salvo
+ Triple Strike
+ Lightnin' Blitz
+ Splitfire
and a few others

They all use the same blast chamber valve system. The difference between the two is that the Blast Fire has a sequential trigger valve and a blast trigger. The Lightnin' Blitz only has the blast trigger.Slug, I may be wrong, but I don't think the Lightning blitz works that way. It fires all 5 darts at once. I saw one on here single barreled once which leads me to believe it's more like a Secret Shot 2 than a BF.
If the Lightnin' Blitz didn't have the same valve system built into it, it wouldn't fire darts unless you loaded all of the barrels.
Well, the Blast Fire in general is more durable than the Hornet and isn't as much of a migraine to modify. It's really no contest as to which one I would choose out of the two.Man... You just made me want to turn in both of my hornets for a BlastFire... Well... Maybe one. Great jorb Hamstray! Uh... I mean Z-Man12
