Hey,
Just wondering if anyone else had purchased Guitar Hero this weekend. I'm only on meduim on the 8th tier battling against Lou ( the devil}. I think it is pretty hard . Post if you have the new game, or your thoughts on it.

I'm going to try and get it this weekend. My friend has it and loves it.

I'll pick it up eventually. As of right now, I have too many games I have to beat. Not only that, but I have the original Guitar Hero, and I'm waiting for Rock band to come out.

forgot to add: Friend has guitar hero 3 and we have played 80% of all the songs to 4-5 stars!

I went to the midnight release, and got the first copy they gave out . Its alright, theres only a few songs a realy liked, I'll be waiting for the downloadable songs.

I really enjoy the song One by Metalica (?). Right now, since i have only had Nintendo systems and have never played game before 2 days ago, i am on medium stuck on Lou. You also gotta love the online play. It has absolutely no lag and is very fun.

NerferKid... Just so you know they would never put a song into the game that they have had in a past games. I agree with you that they are good songs but we will not be seeing them in the new game.

Man! They don't have Stairway to Heaven. I had heard rumors that it would be on GH3 (or was it Rock Band?). I guess not.

UPDATE: After 2 hours, we have beaten co-op (no 3 stars all 4 or 5) on expert and 3+ (most 4ed) starred all single player expert songs. My friend is in the middle of getting a ridiculously high score against Lou! Then we will face off on "Raining Blood" or "Bulls on Parade".

My favorite song is Stricken, its difficult for me to play, but I love Disturbed.

I got 5 star on the second time for Stricken. It was not hard (but then again I'm awesome(I'm just sayin')) for me. I love Guitar Hero but can't wait for Rock Band! I want my vocals and my friends guitar and friends drums. I am good at bass and vocals according to my high school!

Yeah, there are alot of people that are really good at the game, and I'm not one of them.

I don't know anything about guitar hero, but when Rock Band drops in a few more weeks, lookout for an ALL NERFER SUPER GROUP.

As stated before:

I already beat expert with 4-5 stars on co-op AND solo. The problem is, my friend is slightly better than me but it's okay, I just killed him in Bulls on Parade and Anarchy in the U.K.! I think I have over thrown the ruler! ANARCHY FOR THE WORLD!


p.s. : Yes anarchy, being without a ruler or cause and for the world being a saying as a person or group going for a cause is contradictory but who gives a flying f***?

Just wondering, is it just me who thinks Through The Fire And Flames on Expert is easy?

I barely 4 starred that one but I listened to all the songs before I got the game so I knew timing on many different parts. God love imeem. Through The Fire And Flames is an okay song (not my favorite) and I will play that tomorrow and tell you my score.

Alright. My favourite song would probably have to be...Hm...Well, I don't have a favourite song, they're all good. But my favourite section in a song would be The C. Solo Climb in Talk Dirty To Me, or something like that. I love pulling-off that one. (Pulling-Off as in Hammer-Ons and Pull-Offs, not pull off as in complete it, but I did get 100% on that section.)

I played GHIII on the Wii at my friends house. Its funny 'cause he only got one giutar.When we battle, he looks funny like shit playing the the Wii remote.

I also liked Disturned on the game. Damn I wish they had Kamelot!
