I know I haven't done anyhting useful to the NIC, but I figured I might as well try with this, which I thought might be an alternative to epoxy or hot glue.

Mighty Putty

I know that the major downsides to this are that it's expensive, and you don't get much when buying it, but again, it's just something I thought was interesting.

Great! Now I know how to seal my sister's mouth shut! (That's the kiddiest thing I've said in 5 years)

This looks like a great adhesive for nerf guns. I might order it if my plumbers goop fails me.

Intresting. Looks holy crap strong, but I think I'll stick to putting butt loads of hot glue to anything I put on my Nerf guns (at least untill I have money again).

That is epoxy, epoxy-putty to be exact, and you can get it at ace hardware for five bucks a "tube".

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

It's Just Kneadable Epoxy, You can buy it at most hardware stores. I actually have been using said epoxy for about half a year now, it rocks.

Are there any downsides to using epoxy putty in comparison to normal epoxy?

I use epoxy putty all the time for my guns, it's easier to handle and leaves less mess. The only downside is that it is not completely ideal for small cracks and fissures.

EDIT: E-tape and craft foam don't really apply to it well either.

When speaking about a swallow, always make sure you know whether it is an African or European swallow. It is very important.

I've also found that is is more prone to having minor air leaks, when you use it to attach things like pumps to air systems, and that It doesn't work AT all on Polyester Hose barbs, or similar Polyester plastics.

but for structural things, it's amazing. It's definitely how I'm modeling the shell of Sicklefin 2.

I think that does look strong! I personally prefer this stuff over normal epoxie. I just find it easier than epoxie to work with.

Yeah, it looks pretty strong, but uh.. do you have to mix it like normal epoxy? That's like my pet-peeve, having to mix it! Theres also this stuff called "Loctite" it's in a blue tube, black cap, dries in about 20 minutes, its not half bad acually.

with this stuff all you usually have to do is mix it in your hands like play doh. until all the colors are together and grey. Its also not a liquid either if you wondering. So its not like usual epoxy.
