A solenoid valve would have been better, releases air faster. Why didn't you just make a BAMF?

I think I didn't want to do a BAMF because I wanted to make something my-self because I will later put it inside a plastic shell and paint it n' what not.

I see, well even so I recommend a solenoid valve over a ball valve, if you can't find or afford a solenoid (sprinkler) valve, just put a shit ton of silicone spray lubricant so it is super easy to release air.

What about an air tank how would I go about releasing the air from that?
Oh and what to use as a pump.

I think Carbon is a springer maker.

Yeah. It's partly because I build on my living room floor, so I can't use PVC adhesives, partly because my air compressor is three floors down and too loud to use in my apartment, partly because I just like the quick action of springs. I have a few ideas for air guns, but they're not going to happen right now.
