I found some nice nerf guns at my Local Goodwill...
Hehe the hornet doesn't work too well, i think it's the pump. I think i just have to plug the overpump valve...
The dart tag works great tho...
Can't wait to mod them, but lately i don't have time... I saw some air teks, but I figure I'd start with these... I think Nerf's look better anyways... 1.99 and 2.99... what a deal!...

You might just not be priming it right. You have to pull out on the slide on the top front of the gun and then push it back in to place, then pump it. If you're not doing that the shotgun mode will work but not the semi-auto mode.

I saw some air teks, but I figure I'd start with these... I think Nerf's look better anyways...

If you mean Airtechs those are Nerf. But if you meant generic guns like the Tek 6 or Tek 10, yeah, those are generally shit.

no... I have another hornet that works well... I know to cock it and whatnot... this one doesn't shoot far at all tho... I'll check it when I can...
and yes... those Tek guns (NOT nerf)... look like alien guns...?? hehe... I was about to get em just cuz they were 2 dollars... maybe next time... or not... haha

If you're using stock darts that could also be the problem because Hornets have loose barrels and the darts like to pop out due to the restrictors and shoot badly. Sorry if you already knew all this, those are the most probable causes I can think of.

Hornets are prone to jamming. When I fire mine, it will get "stuck" on a barrel half the time. (As in, the mech won't change barrels after one is fired, it will keep expelling air through the most recently fired one.) Still no cure for this, but I plan of modding it soon anyways. You could always make a Volley Titan with it... (Sorry, I had to continue the triple-period trend.)

I got my Titan at GoodWill. I haven't been there lately so I don't know if they have gotten anything new in yet.

Wow, what an awesome find! I think I will now be hitting ALL of the local thrift store on my way home from work! Even if the magstrike doesn't completely work, you paid practically nothing for it, and can most likely use a lot of spare parts from it.

I recommend you fix your posts before an administrator sees it. You are lucky man, my goodwill, volunteers of America, and Ohio thrift stores are ALWAYS full of 50 cent cheap a** guns and nothing else.

Success, I made a nice find at my local thrift store. I picked up two tek tens, a supermax 1500, and an at3k, all for $10. Thanks for the shopping advice SidearmSniper.

I fucked up two of the barrels in my Hornet, so I'm gonna take it apart and integrate it into something.
There's never anything good at my local thrift store, all we get are those high-quality glass chess sets.
Anyway... nice find.
