It actually would. I suggest putting 5-10 layers of craft foam on the top of your plunger head. It'll "silence' the blaster a lot, and make your NF last SO MUCH longer. I did it on mine; it shoots SO FAR, CONSISTENTLY! You should use normal 1/16" thick craft foam.

The Eab has homemade internals, by yours truly. I want to make a writeup, but I need another one, and moosa has one. However, he'll only sell it for $25 + shipping. Which, in my opinion is ridiculous, as I bought that one for roughly half that.
