Ok, my first write up here goes nothing. . .

Start with a couple Mavericks,



Underneath the turret there are two nubs sticking out,



Saw/file/dremel them off so they are flush with the rest of the underside of the gun.



Next, put a strightedge up against the bottom of the gun and over the top of the handle. Mark this line.



Cut a couple centimeters below that line and you should end up with this,



File it down the rest of the way to ensure a good fit.Now it should look something like this,



That would be rather uncomfortable to hold, so now we need to cut off some of the handle


A comparison,




Now glue all together and glue a piece of plastic over that hole in the back of your handle.



Make sure everything is glued well, add duct tape around the handle for comfort. I use this as a side arm to my longshot so I put a strap on it, I highly recommend doing this because it allows you to operate both guns with one hand. Simply put the strap around your shoulder, and push down to cock, then shoot with one hand, as well.

Thats pretty cool.
I would recommend adding a zip tie or something so you can cock both guns at the same time.
Someone could make a very cool creation by combining this with other things.

Interesting concept.

Does the hot glue that appears to be holding together your mavericks hold up? It seems for such a heavy gun another adhesive such as epoxy might be better suited.

I see you have ropes on your cocking mechanism. Have you tried putting a rope between the two mavericks for a single-stroke reload? If you did and it failed, what went wrong?

How do you hold/fire the gun? Which fingers go where?

Forsaken, I put a strap on with each end on either gun so if you put the strap around your shoulder and push down, and both guns cock.

LOM, the hot glue has held up very nicely, but epoxy would be a good option as well.

Combine this with telekinetic's thread on dual wielding mavericks but dual wield these.

Think of having 4 mavericks like that. Twenty four rounds...but a 45 second reload time, if your fast, would seriously hinder this weapon. Maybe carry 2 sets of four mavericks! That is 48 rounds...I would go with that or a clip mod with a sweet maverick. This seems great, good job!

I would like to thank you, because I've been thinking about getting a maverick for a while, and I've got about 18 dollars, so I am definetly buying two, modding them with the ar removal and what not, and then doing this mod. I'll intergrate a SSPB onto it too. But is it tight around your fingers? I can see you having your Index and Pinky fingers on the triggers, and possibly putting your others in the space between?

How long is the reload time?

Its rare that I reload this in battle, not because of the reload time but more simply because I just don't use all the shots. If I happened to need to reload it only takes about 10-15 seconds per gun so thats only 20-30 seconds for a complete reload. Again I use this as a side arm to my High-Cap LS so its rare that I use all 12 shots.

I thought you single mavericks if you broke the rotation mechanism...Maeric, is there another reason that you singled it? Just wanted to do a mod and were broke? WHY!?!?!?

This would look even better if you got some bondo and fabricated a better less awkward looking handle.

Awesome concept.

PS: be careful with bondo, always wear gloves and a mouth mask when sanding it, that stuff is INSTANT CANCER, and if you inhale any of the dust, it will never leave your lungs.

Nice mod. I was trying to bolt two mavericks together side by side with the front swappable clip mod....... haven't really worked on it in a while. I like this better. The only thing I have to say is that you could add some sort of spacer between the two so you could hold it like spiderman or a rockstar. I'm sure that whole 1 finger in the middle thing gets tiring after a while. (atleast it would for me) But anyways good job.
