While I was waiting for my account to validate, I found some great modifications in the forums:

1. The New Style NightMav from RaZerShArp (Seen Here)
2. The Clipped NF from KBarker (Seen Here)
3. The Desert Eagle Styled, Single Barreled Maverick from philadel. Elite (Seen Here)

Would it be possible to combine all of these into one? As in cut off the front to make a Desert Eagle, but add the NF clip instead of one barrel; and finally add the NF plunger for cocking it?

Why don't you just mod your mav, keep the 6 shot revolver side on it and just make a nitmav. Just an idea save you some time, some material, some money. You know just mod it with no ar's clip mod it and do the nitemav. If you don't know what a clip moded mav is (not back seat moderating) then search.

The reason I wanted a “Clip Fed” Maverick was to shorten reload time. I am aware that you can mod the chambers to pop out farther, but I am just experimenting right now.

I really dont see the point of this.... I mean its already a 6 shot AUTO ADVANCE, if you were to make it clip fed it would be very very hard to make it auto advance. If you want something new make a chain fed mav.

If you want faster reload time glue on the turret and cut off the front. More explanation later.

You just gave me an idea... I think it will work! Yes! It will! That's exactly it!

You would use kbarker's clip with a nitemav... If you have access to a machine shop, you could do this in minutes!

Hmm.... I know there is a way to do this, I just have to think about it.

By the way, my NiteMav is now my friend's At3k/ Nitemavmav integration. He put the 3k valve under the barrels of the mav. The valve leaks, though, so he needs a new one. I think a big blast valve would work...

Or, you could do one of those ones with the double clip mav... That would be hard, though.

If you clip a Nite-Mav, you'll have a faster reload time but you'll also have a slower rate of fire, which defeats the purpose of having the Mav's auto rotating barrels. And If you plan on integrating a Nite Finder inside a Maverick and then clipping it with KB Barker's clips, there wouldn't be a difference between that and KB Barker's Nite Finder other than it's in a Maverick shell.

But there is one way. You could clip the Nite-Mav's barrels instead of adding clipped Nite Finder barrels.

Sure, this is possible, just not worth all the time and effort.
Let's see what this will come out with:
NiteMav - NF inside a Maverick, 6 shot turret.
KBarker's Clipped NF - Regular NF, 6 or 10 shot clip installed to the front
Singled Maverick - Regular Maverick but with better ranges, no clip/turret
So, you will end up with a Nitefinder plunger with KBarker's clip at the end. And that is, well, exactly like KBarker's Clipped NF, just in a Maverick shell.

I would go with just doing the NiteMav mod, almost NF power with a 6 shot turret, and doesn't require the use of a mill or a drill press or all the other expensive machinery used in KBarker's clip.

The point of the Maverick is the turret.
Otherwise it would just be a Scout or Crossfire.
