Well, one of my friends, who is quite eccentric I might add, mentioned the possability that the Nerf company possesed a 100' tall piece of foam shaped like a missile located in a secret underground bunker, the words Nerf Nuclear Missile emblazoned on the side. I doubt they do, but what if we made one? Now in all likelyhood, nobody is going to do this. this is the internet though, and by some stroke of luck, mabey 50 years from now, we'll all see the headline about some idiot who actually did it getting arrested.

So, now that the idea is out there, discuss, how would you personally pull it off if you were suddenly struck with some mental illness that kept you from functioning without accomplishing this insane feat.

p.s. The reason this isn't in homemades is because I'm not trying to build this, and I hope nobody else will. I just want to duscuss the idea.

Forum newbs observing other forum newbs chastising forum newbs. It doesn't get any better than this! Hehe. I've never heard of a 100'-tall Nerf Nuclear Missile, but it could exist. Hey TCIND, are you sure others have done this? I might decide to search on my own, but you could save me the trouble if you posted a link to the completion of a giant foam missile project. What I would love to see even more is a Titan that could fire the monstrous thing...Nerfing in cars would take on a whole new meaning when a single shot could knock you off a turnpike. Of course, you would have to mount the Titan Nuclear Delivery System (TNDS) on a mountaintop in order to fire it any direction but up. Of course, one could just install some fancy guidance systems on the giant missile and use it like a real ICBM (intercontinental ballistic missile), but without killing anyone. That brings up another question: would a 100' foam missile be deadly if launched with any kind of force? I would tend to think so. I can see it now: AS-V.1000. *evil laugh*

Well I searched again just now, and I found 1 topic about this subject. Look where I found myself. Now, if you have disscussed it within a thread where that isn't the topic, I fail to see how it could have been fully explored.
Also, if there were threads about this subject, they would be long dead by now, and I would not have the pleasure of participating in them.

Now, I would rule out anything requiring a physics degree from MIT, mabey an underground parking garage filled to about 300,000 psi could serve as an air tank. In order for it to be nerf, it wouldnt do for it to be self propelled.

next up, nerf NAPALM

Now would the missile be solid foam? No, it would have a hole through the middle like most nerf darts. But you could take the launcher and remover the air restrictors, which would necescitate building giga stephans. If properly modded, you might be able to launch this thing all the way around the world, instead of the half-way that nerf decided would make it a safer toy.

This thread actually reminded me of a 5' nerf arrow I had as a kid. Nothing fired it and you had to throw it by hand but I wish I had it now. It was yellow foam and had blue wings with a red tip I think. I don't think it was made by nerf.

Anyways, Whenever I read a thread that starts with "One of my friends said" I know the thread is going to be garbage.

We had one a while a back of some kid saying his friend came across a nerf warehouse where they sold all the old toys. But we never got a link,address or phone number.

We had another one of some kid with a bogus claim who came across a website where you can sign up to be in a nerf commercial and they pay you in nerf guns! We never got a link.

Lets see a little proof. A link, a pic, video or anything that might prove these bogus claims.

I feel dumber after reading through this. Nerf is not about an intercontinental ballistic nerf missile of mass destruction that can rain trillions of Stephens down on every body in its path. Nerf is about getting together with a bunch of people and shooting them with small foam darts. I truly doubt this thing is even pheasible unless it was engineered by no less than a rocket scientist. So that brings me to my conclusion on this subject... If any one is able to build a, and I quote...

"A 100' tall piece of foam shaped like a missile with the words Nerf Nuclear Missile emblazoned on the side"...

I will gladly send them free of charge a fully modded and customized longshot with a custom paint job, and four extended clips.

All I can say is double-u tee fuck? This is goddamned NERF! Why on earth would Nerf build a 100' missile in the first place? It serves no purpose whatsoever. Yes, I'm sure a toy manufacturer wants to hoard a big foam missile. I don't think we'll see that link/pic Angel... after all, the bunker is "secret".
