Secret Shot 1 Mod

I remember seeing pictures of this thing thinking it was alot smaller than it is. It is probably around the same size as a nitefinder.
I loved this things hidden barrel in the handle. For those of you who do not know, the secret shots ammo holder can be turned up and to the side to switch between the barrel in the front and the hidden barrel in the handle.
Here is a pic of the stock gun and its stock internals.
First we will be working on the plunger system. This guns spring was good but not great. I was able to find another spring to fit inside the existing spring and the gun has no problem catching or staying cocked for longer periods of time. Next I noticed the plunger head could use some thickening. Out came the E-tape and I was able to wrap it around 2-3 times creating a much more air tight seal. Lube it up crazy and slap it back in there.
Now take out your plunger assembly and work with the prongs that would normally slide inside the stock dart.
For this mod we will be cutting the prongs down to about half an inch. Now you are going to take some E-tape and take out a long strip and let it hang off a desk or something. Now cut into the tape vertically so you get thin slabs of e-tape that are around 1/4"-1/2" wide. Now wrap them around the 1/2" prongs. Keep doing this untill the prong fits snug inside the brass you are using. I was using 17/32" and it took less than a couple minutes to accomplish this. Make sure your E-tape is wrapped around snug. The reason we wrap the E-tape tight is because it will loosen up creating an even better snug seal. Now squeeze the 4.5" of brass or desired barrel overtop of the E-tape and blow into it while plugging the back hole with your finger. If you hear air escaping near the E-tape you need to add more E-tape.
For the bottom barrel I cut the brass shorter so it would remain a hidden barrel. I wanted to keep it so that a stock dart would fit perfectly inside the handle. I was close. I am able to fit a stock dart in there but the stock darts need to have 0.25" cut away from the bottom so they stay hidden. This is due to the loss of 1/2" of prong we used to seal the barrel. Now wrap E-tape around the brass where they would touch the shell so the barrels stay snug in the gun. I went with green E-tape to better suit the gun. You wouldn't notice this in the bottom barrel but you can see the E-tape when the gun is pointing at you with the top barrel.
Range tests were done on that same shitty day with a bit of rain and a wind coming from the right.
The top barrel achieved 67' 70' and 72' with 3/0 stefans
The bottom barrel was a bitch to test because it is hard to tell if it is going to shoot straight or be angled. After firing about 6 times I finally got a level shot that went about 50' with no arch. Was done using a stock whistler.
I would choose this gun over a Nitefinder anyday.

How is it aiming the shot from the handle? I've always thought it would be nice to have a spare shot, and cool to have it hidden, but then if you can't aim it, it doesn't matter anyways. I'm talking fast, now... most of the time you won't use a backup shot unless you're getting rushed or a good shot presents itself, both of which prolly only last for a few seconds or less.
...and ideas are bulletproof. "

Looks pretty nice, I like how you kept the secret barrel in working condition and made it even better.
You say you'd choose it over a nitefinder, I'm not sure I would but still a great mod.

The larger spring however has to be small enough to fit in the plunger tube.

So nice infact, that thanks to it (and someone posting in this topic from a bit back) that I've just purchased two off ebay ($5 + $35 shipping (I live in the UK, it is about £20 in total, therefore £10 for each SS)).
I'm going to do this mod to one (that is, if I can find a spring... but I'll do the rest), and something sligtly different to the other one.
I use too many brackets...
