I was holding out to post the finished rifle, but I figured I`give you all something to look at so you can get an idea of whats to come........

Its a small video (1.5 megs) of the action cycling. The rifle is about 75% complete at this point. and should be done very soon. I came across some spare time the past few days and have really cranked a lot out on this thing. I`m gonna hold off on a lot of details at this point. I will indulge when it is finished.......

Action Video

Enjoy.

What can I say other than that is yet another fine accomplishment by an alumni of VT engineering?

3 questions…

1) On the left side of the mag port there is a thin metal rod that has a 90° angle to it…what does this piece do?

2) The shells in the mag are under pressure due to the spring located inside the mag…how are the shells kept inside the mag?

3) When the bolt flies forward, does the pvc that the bolt is made of catch on the back rim creating a seal and when the bolt is pulled back to eject the shell, the force from the shell below ejects the shell? If this is the case how is the shell below the shell going to be ejected not be ejected also?

Do you think you could explain this to me?
