Air Compresser valve, It makes so much sense. Quick opening, cheap, widely availble and reliable. My up coming homemade will use these. I'll get some pictures of these valves up soon. This is also what I'm gonna use on my Semi auto AT2k.

I've seen them used before. I too, will be making one using this, and it also will have a jspb-style automatic barrel. Have you seen the regulators on the craftsmen aircompressors? I will also be using one of those also. Good luck with your's, I probably won't get mine built.

Anywhere from $3-$5. You can buy them at your local hardware store, or even your Swap Meet/Flea Market.

Like aco etc? That's cool, zero valves are only about $2,but still that's far better.

I personally get them at Harbor Frieght(SP) I got 'em at their website. I'll explain more later, gotta finish my homework.

They are commonly called blowgun valves and they don't have good airflow. The only use I found for them is as an exhaust/pilot valve for a piston/diaphram/solenoid valve.

You can get these for $2 when they are on sale.
