I decided to test the idea of using multiple power sources to lengthen the life of a electronic nerf gun. It sprouted from an idea to use extra battery trays that were present in integrated blasters. I modded a stryfe with a slide switch to test this out and it worked pretty well. I also tested the idea of putting a barrel connector in the handle so that I could connect it to an external power source. This would be very helpful in hvz to prolong the life of electronic blasters.

I don't have a dremel yet so it is a bit sloppy.

So did you just add an extra power source somewhere in the blaster wired in parallel? It would be a lot easier to see what you did if you posted some internal pictures.

Everyone hates engineers because they listen to what you say and then think about it.

Sorry my computer is being really slow. I don't have the gun with me so I can't post internal pictures. The two power sources are separate and the switch allows you to switch between them. I hope this answers your question
