Well, its about that time of year again, the snow has cleared, the sun is shinning, and the New England area is getting further and further in the War scene, so lets kick things off this year the right way, with sweat on our brows and welts on our skin!
let us continue, shall we?

What?its a Nerf war, you knew that before you opened the post.


Now for the "Do's and Dont's" (aw man really? yes really, safety is required like at any war)

Do bring blasters! at least 3-4 Primary, and maybe a pistol or two. (depending on your play style!)
Do bring darts,(how much? that is up to you. we always recommend 100-150.)
Do bring eye-wear! (you don't want to see what it looks like, or what it feels like to have someone perform a 360' tailspin off of a trampoline and shoot you with a 4B in the eye, believe me, its not fun.)
Do bring a good attitude! (pretty self explanatory)
Do bring the cash mulah! you never know what kind of things people show up with, so you may want buy some things! and we may just order a pizza, you never know!
Do bring water, it gets fucking hot.
Do bring some sunscreen, we're far to Caucasian to end the day looking like lobsters.

Don't be a sore loser! we are here to have fun! and that's just what we do!
Don't bring darts with exposed metal or that you wouldn't like to get shot by. At N.E.N.O we don't have to many blaster restrictions but be logical and responsible.
Don't be a dick. its our number one rule, and we've never had that issue. don't plan on having it anytime soon.

(any games we come up that day also apply)

Things that we will do during down time include the following:
-Trading
-Eating (i do this a lot. also if everyone chips in 5$, we'll get some pizza, but we do recommend bringing healthy snacks like erpples and bernayners for mid day snacks. )
-Laughing (i make everyone do this one way or another
-And a Raffle, so bring something good for the pile!

I won't be on Yale's campus during the summer- bummer. If you have any events going on in August and on, I can definitely make an effort to attend

IMPORTANT BUMP.

location change, why? because Veterans Memorial Park is apparently already reserved for the fifth of july,
changes have been made to the post and we are attempting to notify everyone and anyone who was attending,

War is being moved to 755 cliff st, New Haven CT, 06511. And the date change is now July 19th, why? Something about the field not being worth it.

Bump, NENO is this Saturday!

If you live in NY, NJ, or PA and are available, but on the fence about attending, you definitely should! The CT Nerf scene is strong and still growing, with the central CT and Fairfield County nerfers working together more than in the past, which has a positive impact on the turnout. Turnout this Saturday should be pretty good, with a mix of competition - not a n00bfest and not a vet killfest. The new location in New Haven has ample trees and is not an open soccer field. It's also right where I-95 and I-91 cross, convenient for both New England and Mid-Atlantic nerfers.

So come on up and nerf with us!
