Time: 10AM - until we get tired.

LOCATION: Wood Duck Lane, Wrightsville, PA 17368

When ye get to th' park, don't stop in th' parkin' lot at th' street. Drive back into th' woods 'n around a couple sharp corners 'til ye spy wit' ye eye th' rest 'o us nerds standin' around. Spy wit' ye eye th' map below. I gunna give a go' to be thar by 9:30 or 9:45, includin' pickin' people up (more on that later).

First time hostin', but not th' first at this here park fer a bunch 'o ye. Same place as WAR from earlier 'tis year. A couple 'o ye at APOC 13 were interested in comin' out fer th' day, hope ye can all make it! If anyone be interested, I be available to pick shipmates up off Amtrak in Lancaster 'n drive ye back to th' station at th' end 'o th' day; 6 people max, minimal gear each (has to all fit in me minivan).
Attendance poll question has a "no" answer mostly for people that indicated interest so you don't have to post.

LUNCH: I plan on bringing my small grill and hotdogs/buns for all. Or bring your own lunch. Would like to keep lunch short and get back to play.

Pirates' Code:
-Don't be a rapscallion. Trolling encouraged.
-Standard restrictions on blasters and ammo, but I am a little more lax on some things- ex. WNTS's are allowed, singled titans we only load with hot dogs or duct taped socks. Bring an extra cannon with you me'hearty, they do love to break.
-I am of two minds about glue domes: I love to shoot them, I hate to receive them. I leave it to you guys.
-I reserve the right to tell you to put a blaster away. Just in case.
-No Taps. Before you shoot someone "point blank in the kidneys" (see: APOC 13) make some attempt to communicate you are about to do so. See rule 1.
-No participants under 13, please. If you can drive yourself there, you are old enough to not need an adult present. Under 18 glasses required, over 18 glasses strongly requested.

Upgrade myself and my brother to a almost definite.
For the record, I am against glue domes. From what I've heard, they are not a fun expeirince. I like to nerf, not sit around and look at bruises.

I am willing to play with them because I am willing to receive them, as long as its not short range, basically. If you want to be long range with your non-loser rifle and shoot lasers, you are more than welcome to use them. if you want to be melee distance... gtfo.

There was a poll, so I was guessing their was a record as well.... Where is the war secretary when you need him/her? I'll still play regardless of domes, I just wanted to elucidate on "I will come, but I don't like domes."

Also I guess I can't spell experience, and have misspelled it enough my iPad thinks "expeirince" a real word now.

As Cap'n no pros and cons list hates pros and cons lists, I shall make a con list. No pros. Hopefully this will break his spirit, and cause him to not, as he threatened, flame me and get Langley to ban me(Dunno what blackmail material he got at the APOC afterparty, but I guess it's pretty scary).

Cons:
My blasters broke.
Grill caught fire
My arrows broke/got lost
Gas costs money
Cars are lame
The guy who went pasts motorcycle was purple
We didn't get a metal detector
His beard was white. Whats up with that? Creepy.
I got home and the fudge was already partially eaten
The dude in the range rover killed grass
So did brother on the way out
We got honked at
There was traffic at 6pm. WTF is up with that?
Bugs
No impoverished people to dart sweep for us, for minimum wage
Did I mention my blasters broke?
Brother couldn't figure out how to pump gas in PA(Uncivilized heathens without gas slaves)
Audiobook ended. Had to re-listen to one.
No sex scenes in audiobook
No parents to listen to sex scenes with
Hooker cost 45 bucks. To expensive, had to kill
Found more ball valve squished darts
Hollister wouldn't give me his 1000 dollar shirt.
Playing coy and not asking doesn't get me shirts any more
No siriacha on hot dogs
Blasters broke
Lubey darts
My white foam supremacy was revealed
Almost got stabbed
Cut hand on PumpSnap
Got blood on wooden trigger
Wooden trigger caught aids from blood

Which means that it to broke

I want to thank you guys for coming out, I had a great time for all of 5 people. I think my favorite part of today was the inaugural firing of DAT HAMP.

Some other memorable things:
approaching shady people with metal detectors to see if they would help us dart sweep
charbroiled hotdogs and a grill on fire
looking for arrows...
free for all round that turned into blasters versus bows
shooting a can out of the air with my pumpsnap
almost going hunting for Bigfoot in the woods

I would seriously like to ask that we consider safety a little more seriously in the future. We got away without any injuries (your finger doesn't count, you did more damage to my trigger), but we may not be so lucky in the future. Please dont point loaded/primed blasters at people at short range (esp without glasses).

EDIT: Donquixote sums thing up pretty well for only using a cons list. and no, my spirit is not broken for it.

What damage was done to the trigger? Honestly curious, as I'm thinking of making a Pumpsnap.

Well, I'm glad I only emotionally hurt the trigger.


With a special note that this is not a pro, thanks for hosting. It was a lot of fun.


Next time we war there, I'll bring all the amoirs I have lying around. We could use them to play in the bridge area without having to worry about losing our slugs.

This war was awesome. My two snaps were shooting very shitty the day before which worried me but they shot fine, hoppered too.

Pros:
hotdogs
the super glue baking soda repair I did when I got there fixed the handle on my snap

cons:
my blaster broke

Oh and my friend Christian had a fun time. Here's what I use for snap handles in case you're wondering 8646K39.

I'll make a video for my Youtube channel and I'll post it on here later.
