Hey guys. New game mode idea comin' at you. So it's called 'cornucopia'. So baisically you put all your weapons in a pile in the middle and players stand around the pile. You can go in if you want, or hide out and wait. Once you're out, you're out for good. When you're shot, you drop all of your guns and go to the meeting area and wait.

New Rules (Thanks to BritNerfMogul)
- Only put 'loaners' in the pile. If you don't want it to be used by someone else, don't put it in (Problem solved Groove).
- Great game to play if you're only using stuff that's lightly modded/ stock stuff for indoor wars. Again, this is connected with the above point.
- 1 gun, 1 person. That way every one gets a weapon.
- Start at the pile, rather than make it an objective, OR have the rules state that no one is to fire until all players are back at their start points.

And yes, this is from the Hunger Games. Great books.

This is the hunger games basically and there would be way to much wating in between rounds. Also any body could take your blaster and break it.

Sounds like a nerf based game of dodge ball. It might work well with two opposing teams.

Now THAT is an amazing use of sarcasm. (or was it not supposed to be?)

Anyway, this game type really wouldn't work unless you had a wide open space with no places to hide. Otherwise, what would be the fun of 3 people hiding for 30 minutes while the others sit around and watch? Even with a wide open field, it would need some revisions.

Back on topic. This games sounds a lot like a complete waste of time. It could go on forever and if your out first your fucked.

I can actually see this game working with a few rules additions:

This is actually very similar to the game I usually play, since it's usually just me providing blasters anyway. You get used to others using your stuff after five or six wars of you showing up with two duffels of modded blasters and twenty people who, if you're lucky, grabbed a Mav at Wal-Mart on the way over. Game types like this are also good for getting new people into Nerf. I do tend to hesitate before throwing my 3B into any community pile, though.

Another suggestion that we've come up with to keep down time to a minimum is having a respawn location, but if you die you have to leave all blasters you have at that spot. It creates more of a "salvage war" feel. If you do it right, you can have pretty much endless fun with a game like this.
