In case anyone couldn't figure it out, the forums were hacked. Things were good and fucked there for a little while, but we've recovered what appears to be the full forum database.

In the course of resolving these issues (well, Langley resolved them, I was hoping for the servers were located in japan), we've also updated our shit a bit. Nothing has been formated or changed from the default as of yet. There will be changes, but we're not quite certain about any of them as of yet. We'll keep you posted...probably.

A couple of important notes:

Passwords
Change your fucking password! The hacker downloaded a (sort of) encrypted password table from the forums. If your password can be unencrypted with a simple dictionary attack, it will be. Change your password here, and change it anywhere else you are also using it (and stop doing that too, it's terrible security to use the same password everywhere).

Avatars
The avatars are back, but you may have to reselect your avatar. Click on your username in the upper-right corner of the screen, click 'My Settings', click the 'profile' tab, and then click 'change my avatar' on the left column. All of the same avatars are there.
