I'm really just trying to see if there is enough interest to make this war worth having, so don't get too excited. I figured this war could be a good idea since most of the current MN nerf crowd started nerfing after 2008, which means they have had little to no experience with nerfing at Highland Park, and this would be a good chance to test it out. That, and we might as well use the nice weather while we have it.

This war will be run fairly lax. Usual rules are in place:
-Slug Darts (or darts with a foam tip and weight that yields similar performance to slug darts. Ask if you have something besides typical slug darts in mind.) and stock ammo only.
-Don't be a douche.
-Wear eye protection.
-Don't bring realistic looking blasters.
-There are no pre-war blaster bans, but if something is ruled to be distasteful at the war, it may have to be removed from play.

Lunch:
There's a BK and some other places nearby. Finding food won't be an issue.

Time: 10-4 or whenever we get tired.

You're staying with John, right? I live like a 2 minute walk away from him, really close. I could very easily provide you with transportation and blasters. Even if you don't go to this war, we should still try and meet if possible. It would be an honor.

No, but the hotel we're staying at is only 15 minutes from the park. My chances are looking good for making this.

Most people bring a bucket, so you can probably collectively mooch off of everyone. That's what I've been doing for the past few wars, and it works like a well-oiled toaster. If everyone forgot to make darts, you can just barrel tap/throw guns at people.
