Saturday, May 22nd, 2010 - 10:00 AM - 5-6 PM
Arrive at no later than 9:45 AM. First round starts at 10:00 AM.
Plan on meeting in the parking lot by the two playgrounds and pagoda.

What to bring:
-Your "A" game
-A good attitude
-At least one primary, preferably two if your's breaks.
-Spring powered single-shot pistol.
-Darts, a lot of them
-Eye Protection, if you're not wearing any, you don't play
-Lunch and water.
-Proper attire. I don't want to see some douche bags showing up in camouflage or I will tell you to leave.

What not to bring:
SLINGSHOT WEIGHTED DARTS AREN'T ALLOWED
-Slug darts or stock ammo only. No exceptions.
-Pump plugged blasters with airtanks larger than a Mega Missile. You must have a working OPRV otherwise.
-Anything else will be determined on a case-by-base basis determined by the hosts.
-Blasters that are painted black/camo will be destroyed. And that means RFDGs, and PASs. Put some bright colored tape on them or paint them a different color. Extremely bright blasters will be encouraged. We don't want any problems with the police.
-Kids who are ≤13 years old must have their parent(s) present.

Miscellaneous Information:
-Barrel tapping is allowed, but after it is executed, the player must shoot his dart on the ground. The barrel tap itself must be light.
-If you are being a douchebag I will ask you to leave.
-Please clean up after yourselves, we will be in a public park.
-Please refrain from yelling obscenities, we do not need the attention.
-Be respectful to all other civilians using this facility.

Round Schedule:*
Arrive at no later than 9:45 AM. We will go over basic rules and safety. We will begin playing at 10:00. If you're not there and ready to go at 10:00, you'll miss the first round.

10:00 AM - Meatgrinder

11:00 AM - Capture the Flag and/or variants

12:00 PM - Dart Sweep/Lunch

1:00 PM - Carpe testiculum (Seize the balls)

2:00 PM - Two team 3/15 Deathmatch

3:00 PM - Dart Sweep

3:15 PM - VIP

4:30 PM - Meatgrinder

5:30 PM - Dart Sweep, End of war

Looking good. Couple suggestions:


Barrel tapping should be allowed, but needs to be a legit barrel tap, meaning:

• Your blaster should be loaded and primed
• A "light tap". If your barrel has exposed brass, aluminum, any sharp material, you should not be barrel tapping.
• Once you LIGHTLY tap your opponent, you must shoot into the ground, to prove your blaster was ready to fire.

Also, I know litersize happened to take some pictures. I'm sure hes more than willing to let us use em, so you could post that in the main thread.

Also, banning BBs might be ridiculous. I think we should allow bbs, just no hotglue tips.


Anyways, looking good. If you need help with hosting, just ask.

Short notice, yes, but I wouldn't mind a war next weekend. Also, your barrel tapping policy actually makes sense, which I've never seen before.

Also, I think most people would consider a bb underneath a felt tip to be a slug dart, so I don't know if that's an issue. That said, I don't understand why anyone would do that, as a washer is an easier solution.

I'll try to drag some people into this. I don't see why 1 week notice is too little for a local war.

I did indeed take a day some time ago scouting various locations! This was what I found there:









- This location was more of an open air arboretum; the plants are all labeled and stuff and probably not intended to have people running over them.




A good amount of hills and there's that playground, too.

Quick change: I might actually be able to attend in the morning! But is it alright if I use single BB glue domes? I don't have the materials to make slugs (my change in schedule is a new development, so I never ordered the materials to make darts), and they're also more durable and significantly lighter than slugs to address any concerns.

I'll probably bring the U3 bucket of slugs. So you can use some of those.

Also, any interest in a mobstacle party between now and the war (or at least now and CHANO)?
