Would it just be easier to just get a mega missle with a turret.
If you mean "put a turret on a MM", then yes---it would be easier. Would it be as cool as taking a seemingly useless vintage blaster and making it...umm, actully work really well? NO.

Thanks. Since I posted this I have gone back and reinforced where the tank and shell meet with epoxy putty and JB Weld. I also switched the 3K pump out for a ball pump, and painted the barrels silver to match the turret. I will try and post new pics tonight. Now 1 pump of the blue handle rotates the turret, and 1 pump from the ball pump fills the tank.

Holding this already small blaster was a bit tuff with the tank mounted on the right, so I decided to swing the whole tank over to the left side----man did it help! This baby is now waaayy more comfortable to hold/fire. I improved the turret seal as well, using a better craft foam. Also, I scraped the 3k pump and added a Basketball pump. Now 1.5 pumps = awesome range. I plan to use this for at least 1 round at RSNO on the 7th.
If you decide to mak one, I suggest the left side mount for sure. A very fun little blaster.
