Hiya. I had an idea recently, but don't really have the skills and/or money necessary to make it come to fruition. Just wondering what people thought in general, and if anyone was willing to help.

The general idea is to take two Eliminators (or whatever those tiny guns that come in a six-pack are called), flip them over, and put them on the underside of the front of a Longshot. Obviously, there'd be cutting off of handles, etc. involved. From there, put a piece of PVC, or something connecting the two Eliminators, then attach the handle of the LS front gun to that, to make an easy cocking mechanism. I don't really know what to do with the triggers however. Anyway, I thought this might be a decent non-welt-inducing close range addition for really high powered LS's, but it could also work for other things, especially with decent ranges those little guys get.

So, comments, ideas, flames, etc?
In short, no.

In long, nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

As hypothetical posts go ... I have read far, far worse. Your idea seems practical, in both the sense that it should be possible, and it might work out about as well as you hypothesize.

All the same, concept threads usually have to be shut down quickly. Your first sentence really sums up the problem. The people who do have the skills and opportunity are almost never short on new ideas of their own. Talking them into trying your idea is a challenge, and one which should probably be attempted somewhere a little more individual.
The internet is a collaborative work of performance art.

Your idea is great, but even though you have this great idea, what is the use of sharing it here? Someone else will see it who has the guns, supplies, and money to do it, and will claim it for his/her own. It is better to keep this idea of yours to yourself, and then experiment until you have a working prototype. Then post it here.

Welcome to Nerfhaven and enjoy your stay.

I used to have that problem until I got circumcised. 15 pounds later I was able to stand up straight.

So all this is a springer shottie attachment?

Not that AMAZING but it seems like it could become useful. Plus you wouldn't have to worry about your SSPB leaking.

That's my two cents, now [sing] Let it be [/sing]

Offtopic: Pretty good first post.

Thanks for the critiques, guys. I think I will get around to this once I get a new LS or two, but for now I think it will have to hibernate for a while. Thanks again.

And there is the problem and usual outcome of these idea threads. If you weren't serious about following thru then why bother posting the idea?
Forgive my spelling and grammar. I post from my cell phone a lot. Sometimes when I'm on the can at work.

Seriously? What the fuck is wrong with you people? These threads not only suck, but they're sucking in the wrong fucking section. I want to ban half the board right now so bad.

It's ok, everyone, just stand back. The situation is under control. Luckily, I spent (Not wasted, mom! I hate you!!) studying the migrational mating patterns of the elusive sasquatch. All we need to do to calm him down is to douse a small child in cow urine and leave him wounded near the opening of this magestic animal's den. Than we just let nature run its horrifying course.

And they said Nerfhaven would never go green. HA! THEY are assholes. Let's burn some tires to celebrate proving those jackasses wrong!
