This is another write-up for the Buzz Bee Big Blast.

Materials needed:
1 Buzz Bee Big Blast (4B)
1 Phillips head screwdriver
A minimum of 11” of 1/2 inch Sch. 80 PVC
One 1/2 inch slip+thread Sch. 80 PVC coupler
One 1/2 inch slip+thread Sch. 80 PVC bushing
A minimum of 12” of PETG (Medium Wall)
Plumber’s Goop
PVC Pipe Cutter
Optional:
More Sch. 80 and PETG for additional barrels
One slip+thread 1/2 Sch. 80 PVC coupler
Hot Glue Gun
E-Tape

Let’s get started.
Here is the stock gun.

It shoots rockets about 25-30 feet.

First, open her up.
You will need to break/burn.hack/dremel the orange ring apart.

The internals.

Now cut off the rocket barrel flush with the dump valve.

Now get your bushing out and test fit it on the dump valve.

Wrap the dump valve in E-Tape until the slip+thread bushing fits securely.
Trim the excess E-Tape.

Now Goop the bushing and tank together and let it dry.

While that’s setting, we need to work on the shell.
This middle plastic shelf needs to be removed.

I used 2 pairs of needlenose pliers and a knife to remove it.
Repeat for the other side.
Next, the front shelf needs to be widened.

Same thing, both sides.

I also cut out enough of the pump cover so that I can rotate the pump handle 360 degrees. (Comes in handy for quick pumping.)






Ok, now onto the barrels.
Take your PETG and test fit it in the Sch. 80.
If it is a good fit, you can leave it. If not, take some Teflon tape and wrap a little of the PETG with it, then try it. Repeat until PETG is secure. The end of the PETG should stick out roughly 1/2 inch from the Sch. 80.
I went ahead and made a speedloader for it.

Hot glue secures the 2 barrels together.

After the Goop has dried, reassemble the monster.





What I like about the bushing is that it looks so clean.




The advantage of having the bushing on there is so that you can use different couplers and barrels.



For example, my breech is threaded, so I unscrew the slip+thread coupler and replace it with the breech barrel, which has a double threaded coupler on it.

Why didn't you do the shell minimization thing? I'd imagine it would make changing barrels easier.

Mostly because I like the way it looks stock.
Also, hacksaw cuts that large tend to be tedious and annoying.

The hot glue was coming off, and we all know what that does for aim.

That looked, and sounded like it hurt. FA, you need to start selling Balistic gel dummies as test objects, it sucks being the test subject. It's what the MythBusters use anyway.

Actually NerfCrazy and I kept saying that at Fall MNNO, because I kept Vaginaing arrows by shooting them out of my Roto Rocket. I also used that term when Zudikas and I were having a stock dart war with my Blastfires and they darts kept getting Vagina'd for some reason.

I assume it is because the abbreviation for buzz bee big blast is BBBB. Four B's, or a quad. Quad B = BBBB = buzz bee big blast.

Or so I think.
