1/4in foam meat tray.. I have a hotwire cutter and other tools but with patience you can copy my results.
the one pictured i used my hotwire to cut the disks and used a soldering iron to burn the holes.. just clam the disk into the turret and take it back apart there will be clear marks of where your holes need to be..... now I use a .45acp shell as a hole saw.... .50ae would be better... on the maverick it allowes me enough room to use tagger darts
this works extremly well with the dart tag blaster and my rapidfire20 although the rf20 took me 3 tries and half the night to get all the holes to line up

Good idea but it sounds really hard to get the holes lined up.

Im not the only one to use bullet casings in nerf modding.
For future reference, a 7.62x54r works wonders for taking out the ars in a magstrike magazine.
Anyway, cool mod, but should you wash the meat tray before using it? Or is the blood all part of the seal?

That looks like a very good idea. The trick is just to get the holes perfectly spaced. After you get past that this seems like it would be very effective. Nice work.

Either I'm having a horrible case of Deja Vu, or I've seen those exact pictures somewhere else...
Edit: I have seen them before, posted by Mr BadWrench on NHQ. :3

I get all giddy when I see VACC browsing a stupid topic. I just know someone is going to get banned.

Your having Deja Vu. I know that he took those pics. I recognize the style from NHQ. He always takes them on his washer or dryer. But this is a good fix for AR's. Thanks. Maybe I can bring my Mav back from the dead.. Or just save the energy and waste 8 bucks.. But either way, I'll try this. Thanks.Either I'm having a horrible case of Deja Vu, or I've seen those exact pictures somewhere else...
It's not like that. I put lube on it and its the same. Its just stuck. And when I cock it back it goes farther back then usual. Also I push as hard as I can and it wont go back in. I've tried the methods and they wont work. Also pics are up.
