Why doesn't Nerf make those awesome semi-automatic guns anymore, like the Rattler, Chainblazer, and Razorbeast? The only nerf gun close to semi-automatic is the Longshot and BBB, where Longshot has an easy and fast reload, and BBB has almost the same action as Chainblazer.

If you accidentally clock somebody with a doubleshot, then you're more liable to break the doubleshot than you are to cause serious injury.

PM me if selling a NIB or LNNB LnL.

What are you smoking?

Quick list of decent semi-auto guns:

Hornet
Blastfire
Big Salvo

There's also the Triple Strike, Splitfire, Mad Hornet and probably some more that I'm forgetting but those are either hard to find or shitty.

Also, 3B's aren't even close to semi-auto unless you mod them with a clip and breech and that's a real pain in the ass. And the only good Rattler mod I've ever seen is frost vectron's CPVC mod, which still (I think) doesn't achieve the same ranges as the first three guns I listed. Finally, Longshots are shit because they're hard to mod and very unreliable unless you put a lot of effort into making them work, and Razorbeasts are only worthwhile if you have a lot of chains, which again, would involve money and/or time that nobody really wants to spend.

One more thing. If you consider the Longshot "close" to being semi-auto, the Maverick, Recon, DTB and Firefly would be too, and all of those are just as easy to find and usually cheaper.

I'm sorry, I kept reminding myself before starting this thread to type it more specifically.

I meant semi-automatic spring guns from NERF. And Longshot is easy to cock, that's why I said it's close to being semi-automatic.

And I didn't find any parts I could leave out, so I quoted the whole thing.

If you consider a bbb semi auto then nearly ALL spring guns would be. Did you see FA24's or the pissbow? Because those guns are, but an average bbb is not.

Don't want to shove balls in tight spaces. Trust me, bad idea.

Semi-auto springers would have to be manual like the ones you listed, and Nerf (at least this is the way it seems to me) has shifted from making Nerf guns to making replica firearms that happen to shoot foam darts; the old guns that were manually powered and didn't even come close to resembling real guns are probably not going to be made again for a long time as long as Hasbro's sales keep going up with the newer 'realistic' guns.

Keep in mind that I don't know shit though, this is just what it seems like to me.

There is no such thing as a semi-automatic springer. Only air or electrically-powered guns can be semi or fully automatic. I assume you mean being rapid-fire and easy-to-use. In that case, as NM stated, Hasbro has been shifting the type of guns in the Nerf line, so don't expect anything quite like the classics to make a comeback. There might be one oddity in a few years, but that's all we can hope for.

Well, chainblazers and arrowstorms are fun and all, but when it comes down to it, they just aren't that accurate. There are better guns out there, just try a few.
I don't care what anyone else says, Atom Blasters are fucking awesome.

There's:

Load-Cock-Shoot-Repeat= Single Shot (NiteFinder)

Load-Cock-Shoot-Cock-Shoot-until ammunition runs empty= "Semi-Auto" (Maverick)

Load-Pump-Shoot-Shoot-Shoot- though releasing the trigger after each shot= True SemiAuto (BlastFire/Hornet)

Load-Pump-Rapid Fire= AutoMatic (RapidFire/PowerClip/WildFire/Magstrike)

Notice that there are no true semiautos that requires a single cock. Air, like found in an air tank, is a nessesity to aquire this type of shooting. Thats why I said pump not cock.

So considering that you had no idea what the hell you were talking about before, what type of gun are you talking about now?

I like fireflies, if you remove the air restrictors they can be pretty good, plus the light thing is fun to play with. Recons and longshots are good, but unless you at least modify the ammo they can't be too useful. I also really like my hornet, but those are sometimes unreliable.

Its not really semi automatic if you have to pump it, it just defeats the purpose of semi auto---
