Just picked up a longstrike at a TRU in sandiego

Which store might that be? The one closer to Downtown or by Vista?

The 9-9-10 box is something they plan on keeping secret? Like a surprise gun?

I'm interested in what that box was all about too.

Stopped by the Super Target in St. Louis Park this morning and bought myself a Warlock (which they had plenty of for 19.99). They also had Dart-Tag Sleeves and Nerf Bandoliers. I was thinking about getting one of the bandoliers, but does anybody know how long they are? If I'm gonna need two I'd rather wait until they are cheaper.

Buzzbee had a 51 dart refill for 9.99. I don't know if it's new or not, but I hadn't seen it before. No Tetra-Strikes yet though.

I do believe it is new, I just saw one last week for the first time I can recall. It was at the TRU in Fargo, ND. Hope that helps.

They are 4 feet long.

Hey, Spud, and all the other modders out there. Regarding the bandolier, it is extremely long. I am a full-grown 39-year old white boy from North Dakota, and I had to SHORTEN this thing to get it to fit properly! laugh.gif

Trust me, it's more than long enough. don't trust the box, most of the bandolier (I'd say about 70% of it) is behind the cardboard. At maximum extension, 6 feet in length, more if you hook it to your blaster.

Happy foam-chucking!

I hadn't noticed the tac vests in the corner of the pic untill now! While i doubt that it will fit me I like that nerf is finially starting to address the issue of ammo\clip managment in a realistic way. now if only the'd make a clip holder for their "rail" system I'd be a happy nerfer!

QUOTE(Wes7143 @ Jan 27 2010, 05:25 PM) *

Wow, no one's pointed this out, yet. Look at the rightmost portion of the N-Strike section. Lots of new clip holders, vests, ammo boxes, clip belts & such.

I like that they made that vest, it looks pretty sweet.

Is the bag in front of it for the vest to store in, or you guys think it's some kind of belt ammo storrage or both.Looks like there are 3 diffrent bags.

Ok this is bassed on pure speculation as I can't really tell from the picture either, what I would like it to be is a nerf ammo bag designed to connect to the bandoleer and be sized to hold two nerf 35 dart barrel drums. It seems like nerf has really put some thought into ammo managment and those big clips are the only things dont have some type of accessory out to aid with transport.

The store on West Morena blvd near Point Loma had them and then I found them at the TRU in La Mesa.

It is long enough, and in my opinion to long. I know its supposed to be a bandolier. But I am affraid it would slide off during a hectic nerf war. So I am going to turn mine into a belt. (if any body is interested in my idea I am going to post it in the mod section.)

I just got one today, they're definitely 6 feet long, thanks for letting me know.

Just in case anybody wanted to know a bit more info, micro stefans fit just fine in the individual holders and don't seem to be deforming at all. The clips fit quite snugly and the elastic likes to get caught on the side notches the clips use to lock into blasters. It'll probably loosen up a bit with use so it shouldn't be a big deal. The only disappointment for me is that the Warlock handle doesn't fit well in any of the holders, although I'm sure there is enough room for either of the swords.

Also, nerf is getting into home decorating with this Nerf Rug. I don't think I've seen it in stores yet though.

I was at a Goodwill store in Northeast Portland, and found that they had a stack of small Zubber packs for $2 each in their Target clearance stuff. So if you are interested in this stuff, go take a look at both Goodwill and at Target for clearance.

The Deerfoot Walmart Supercenter in Calgary, AB, Canada has 2 Longstrikes on the shelves for 40$ and several bandolier kits.. I'm guessing that Longstrikes will probably sell across Canada for about 40$.

That is most likely mile high. I have found that, even if it is from a different source, most black foam is mile high or very similar.
