Ok, so I built the Basic CPVC breech but it would not stay together for me. The hot glue refused to stick to the coupler. So I went about designing a different one.

You will need:
  • 12" of 1/2" CPVC
  • 4" of 1/2" PVC
  • Hot Glue
  • A blaster to put it on
You will want:
  • A Rotary Tool of some sort
  • Cutting disk for above
  • Grinding Disk for above
Get your 1/2" PVC. Take the four inches, mark about an inch on both sides.

Cut out half of the PVC in between the marks,

Then use your grinding disk to bore out the PVC, so on one end the CPVC fits tight inside it(this side is your coupler), and the other so that the CPVC slides easily. The open part between the ends of the PVC should be bored out too.

Then attach the tight fitting end to either your CPVC'd nerf blaster, or cut off 4" of the CPVC and attach that. It should be slid about half way in and hot glued.

One side of the remaining 8", or a piece cut to 8", should be sanded down, so that the inner edges are not 90 degrees, Then slide into the breech, and it should seat into the other half of the coupler.

Glue something to stop the dart from sliding into the coupler, i used a washer.

Thats it, attach it to your nerf blaster and youre set. To cycle it, pull the barrel all the way forward, insert a dart, and push it back. Sometimes the darts hang up in the barrel, if anyone knows how to fix this, let me know.

Ive done the same but since Im too ghetto I used a whiteboard marker instead of the PVC. A suggestion though; you shoud grease up the barrel a bit in the end facing your gun, the apply hot glue around it. This will make the seal 100 percent air tight (or atleast really close to that).

EDIT: Only do the hot glue thing if you are using a whiteboard marker like me.

Oh, I fixed the dart hangup problem. I cut the barrel shorter and hot glued a foregrip type thing on. It makes it a little easier to operate.

Do you think this would work with a clip?

Don't want to shove balls in tight spaces. Trust me, bad idea.

For sale: Vintage WWII French rifles. Dropped once, never fired.

It works with a deoderent clip, mine works.

The basic one you need to use super glue. Hot glue doesn't work well with it.

That was pretty much the purpose that I made it for. It worked O.K. for me, someone with more skill probably could make this work well.
