So recently I got a second Longstrike after breaking my first one, and I took it apart and removed some locks, ar removal,ect.. So I go to put it back together and It just won't close! It always seems to be sticking up around the trigger/magewell area. Can someone help me?

this happened to me as well! what i did is just put your knees on the shell make as closed as possible then put the screws on were its bulging then put the remaining screws were you could fit em. then come back to the screws in the bulging place and go at em again. ( dont try on the first time to put the screws to tight and dont try to strip them either) you might have little creases but its better then nothing.

Can't tell if trolling, or what.

You NEVER EVER want to do that because you can deform your shell, and/or break or bend the interior parts.

Keep fiddling with the internals until you get them to fit. Even if you have to take them all out and put them in again. Just DO NOT force it closed.

The parts that are out of alignment might actually be away from the trigger and magwell area. Make sure the plunger and breech assembly are all properly aligned, the boltsled especially.

I've had that problem before. I think you may just perhaps have the clip release pulled back. Both halves of that need to be in the same forward position for the blaster to close. That's what usually happened to me anyways. Hope you get it figured out. :)

This ^ is what I've experienced as well. After lining up the clip release, make sure the catch is going into it's slot on both sides of the shell.

Never force anything- my longstrike was victim of someone inexperienced trying to mod it, and they ripped the shell in 2 halves. Not easy to fix.

Thanks for all your help, but now arises another problem. I put the longstrike back together and now whenever i prime it, when I put the it back to the original state it kind of sticks. Is that normal?

What modifications did you do to the blaster? If you did anything with the o-ring or did not properly lubricate any internal that you handled then the boltsled will naturally be harder to move - if that is what you mean by "sticky". Use more sophisticated words to describe the problem if what I previously mentioned is not the cause of the symptoms.

No it is not. When I was modding my LSK, I also noticed the same problem. When aligning the shell, you need to do one more thing. Insert your priming bar and pull the sled back just a tiny bit until you notice the shells are completely together without you forcing it down. If it is aligned perfectly you can then start screwing it back together and you will have as smooth priming as you did before opening it.

The sticking you are describing is probably the sled pushing down the dart tooth.

Thanks for all your help guys! I found the second problem. Turns out when I took the lock on the boltsled out and put it back in, I replaced the stock spring with an over powered one and it was sticking up when I primed it, making it "stick". Thanks again!
