That is pretty awsome. On a side note what color/scheme should I paint my X-bow? I just finished everything on it and it needs a color other than purple and silver duct tape.

Here it is-

Sorry if it is too big. Those thing above it are barrells that can be switched out. It has hit 135 with a good micro once. That foregrip serves three purposes-
1- Nifty Water Bottle
2- Good Handle
3- Extra shot

Yeah it can shoot out of the handle. It also has a tac. light that can be removed and replaced by a laser pointer. Here is the list of barrells-
1. 1/2 in PEX
2. Nested Crayola in SCH40
3. CPVC (flipable)
4. Nested Glue Stick (megas)
5. Quad Nest (3/4 in(5/8 in(1/2 in(3/8)))

The barrell on top of the gun is in a coupler and can carry an extra shot for when you use the Flipable barrell.

What do you think? This gun needs a paintjob, but what??

We should stop calling out/making fun of/pissing GC off. He's actually contributed and is available for trade. He's a better than average member no doubt. Got your back Cole.

Like I said in your writeup thread, great job, Nite Walker. Not bad at all for a first writeup (better than my first writeup...lol).

Cole, Before you starting thinking about paintjobs, I'd worry about finding a way to mount that light without duct tape. You don't want to paint on Duct tape; all of it should be off the gun. I'd suggest gluing a piece of 1/2" PVC to the gun (the maglite should fit in it; if not, get 3/4" and wrap the Maglite and Laserpointer in tape to fit the PVC snugly.) That will allow you to get rid of all of the duct tape and still have your light attachment and whatnot. Do the same for the front handle. Except I'd probably go with two-part epoxy for that one, since it'll be indergoing a LOT more stress. But only put glue on ONE half of the shell. If you put glue on both, you'll get this WONDERFUL problem commonly known as not being able to part the halves of your gun. So glue the handle on the centerline like it is right now, but only actually put adhesive on one half.

Once you've got it clean, color schemes are anybody's game. But not mine. I'm having enough trouble coming up with one myself.

Paint the body blue, the grips black and the barrels and plunger rod silver all with Metalcast. Kind of like a first edition NF.

Yeah Falcon's right, you don't want to be painting over duct tape.

My new Secret Shot 2. I decided to go with a classy white. I outlined the Nerf symbols with a fine tip waterbased paint pen. The yellow pump sets it off with a nice accent color.

It is modified with 6" of PETG and is also couplered.

Bolt, ye are truly a god among men. Ye have earned yeself a place on Enigma's list of heroes, right below Sean Connery and directly above Papa Smurf...a highly honorable slot indeed.

Not quite sure. Something over 100' I am sure. It's pretty much a standard mod, but with a paintjob.

Thanks for the compliment.

Boltsniper- You never cease to amaze.

Mat- I recently did a similar mod. It's a good solid start. Good work.

Falcon- What the hell is that!? That's amazing! Two rotating barrels? Insanity.

This is my squirt gun that I put an AT2K in, and I painted it to look sort of like the Assault Rifle from Halo.

Another picture.

I'm trying to use a clip, and breech, it isn't completely functional right now but hopefully it will be soon!

-To Falcon- Again a Split Tech, and for sale! Beautiful! :D

~trogdor

Update- Now in working condition, but the clip doesn't work so well, I'm just happy it shoots I'll test ranges sometime this week.

Not much here. The SM3K has a trigger fix and it's pump is plugged. The LS still needs to be glued on, but both parts have their air restricters removed. And last are my DTGs, only the air resticters were removed.

Nice job on the Vaporizer/ Airtech intergration Trogdor!
What did you use to cover the Nerf logos when you painted your Longshot Boltsniper?

Just thought I'd post my reproduction of a George Petty pinup that I painted on the side of my Crossbow. I was considering opening up a Crossbow painting service for similar things...

Wow. Genious.

Dart Attack's Longshot sidearm integration
EDIT: It's finished!
The integrated gun doesn't have a trigger plate, so to fire, you just pull back and let go.
(one day I'll get around to rigging the firing mechanism to the main trigger)

That looks incredible! Please keep me posted on that one. I'm really interested because I have one of those.

That really is one of the most awesome guns I've seen in a long time.
